The good folks of Galena, Kan., threw a party
Saturday for the 1951 International boom truck that was an inspiration for Mater. The truck’s going to be a
permanent part of an exhibit at an old service station on Route 66 that’s going to be
restored.
Heh…“Tow Tater”…
This is nice news.
Historical preservation is always an awesome thing. Like the SS
Nomadic, it’s important to
make sure things aren’t forgotten or discarded.
