Well, IGN has honoured our favourite robot couple by naming them one of their favourite on-screen couples!

We’re not discriminating here at IGN. Robots crave love every bit as much as humans, and we have to reward those rare few that actually find it. WALL.E the lovable cleaning droid proves to us that love knows no boundaries, not even the vast reaches of space.
WALL.E led a humble life as the last of an army of robots fighting a losing battle to clean up Earth’s gigantic mess. His life was brightened when he met EVE. Though neither robot spoke much in the way of English, we all became enraptured by this simple, charming tale of digital romance. Wall-E followed EVE across the galaxy in a show of undying loyalty. Fortunately, this is a Pixar movie, so his affections were returned in the end. We like to think these two bots are living a happy retirement while the fat, lazy humans pick up their own mess for a change.
The fact they’re non-human and from an animated ‘flick’ is a commendable achievement. IGN’s mention of JB and Vesper in the entry above and nary a mention of Edward and Bella (from Twit-lite) is also a huge plus for me!
