I’ve actually never seen anything with Mickey Mouse in it, so I’m not looking forward to it too much. But if it’s not just a speculation, and once we see some art or footage, I probably will start getting excited.

I’ve never seen Fantasia! And yes, that’s so not a Disney fan thing to say, but we never watched it when I was little and we don’t own it, so it just slipped by. I wanna see it though, I might get it from the library soon!
I love Fantasia. Though I must admit, I am not a fan of Fantasia 2000 at all. Everyone thinks I’m nuts because I prefer the original. 
I plan not to get my hopes up and be excited, until the official announcement.

I thought about it, and I think Fantasia 2000 is, well, okay. I think I prefer the original too. And didn’t those people who think you’re nuts dislike Bambi among other classics?
Personally, I think this is a great idea. Mickey Mouse is one of the greatest characters ever created. I really hope if they decide to go through with the project it features hand drawn 2d animation. In an age of Pixar, this would be a nice change.
My favorite disney character of all time has to be Mickey Mouse. My son watches the singing cartoon on the Disney Channel. He adores both Rock Star Mickey and dance star mickey. Mickey will always remain in my heart.
I really hope Mattinson comes up with something amazing and it gets the OK. I want this so badly. But I got teary reading this thread and the articles about it… I wish Wayne Allwine could be apart of this.
