Mike&Celia?

Do you think if they

made a sequel, Mike would marry Celia?

If they made a sequel, my

bet it would revolve a little more around Sully and Boo, but yes, I believe the two would be married.

Well seeing as how stubborn Wazowski is, once he

say’s Celia’s “the one” most likely she’ll be married to him.
An interesting concept is how this

will affect them in the workplace heh heh.

What

is this fascination with Pixar couples getting married? I’ll read a thread about a

couple marrying and then turn around and bump into another one.

Not all

animated couples essentially have to get married. Lilo & Stitch has spawned 3

sequels and a TV series, but Nani and David are still dating…and it works.

But, sorry. Just ignore me

and talk amongst yourselves.

~~=oP

They could be I

suppose. Although I myself am not sure if I’d want them to be. I’d be happy if they were still dating, they

wouldnt have to be married.

Well, I

suppose we never will know unless a sequel to the film is made, and…frankly…we don’t really essentially need

to know, either. I’d like to think that they got hooked up at one point in time, although judging by the fact

that Mike was going to take Celia to a monster truck rally…things might have changed.

Other than

that, I’m with PixarVixen on this matter. I’ve never seen the fascination with

discussion concerning couples myself, and they seem to be everywhere nowadays. But hey – don’t mind me. I’m

just passing through…

Hmm. Well, it seems to be a popular

idea, but I for one would find it more interesting and also, in a sense, more realistic, if we saw the two going

through some major problems- such as whether they’re ever going to have children, or the fact that Mike focuses

on Sulley a lot- rather than the two just jumping onto marriage. The original film hints a lot that the two are

having some troubles, so maybe with the company in Sulley’s hands, and Mike being more preoccupied with him,

things will get worse before they get better.

I sort of agree

with PV on this. both Mike and Celia are an incredibly cute couple. And I think they are more loveable as a

couple than having a married relationship. If they were married, I think they won’t be as loveable or

humorous.

I’m with most of the

folks on this one. Plus, Celia Mae strikes me as being a fairly smart gal, who doesn’t put up with a whole lot

of garbage. In the movie, she was more or less blind-sided by love, but I have a feeling that once that initial

“rush” simmers down, she’ll start to see Mike’s negative aspects more clearly, including his

infatuation with himself, and really start to question her role in this relationship.

Now that I think about

it…
Pixar concentrates on having a good story to make a movie. You all agree on that one

right?

Perhaps one of the best ways is to have Wazowski wanting to make commitment, though Celia is still

deciding. So their not married at the time, but trying to work things out.

I think they would, or maybe the already did between movies…

Hmm, I can’t see Mike as the marrying type. He seems so happy as a bachelor.

You bring up a good point. If he got married, which would be hilarious, who would Sully live with, talk with, etc??

But I think he ight be an even happier person once he is with someone he loves.

A conflict indeed.
With Celia be able to put up with Wazowski…I mean sure they go out on dates and see each other at work, but not like they’ve spent every day together…would CELIA be able to handle that?
Not to mention Sullivan and Wazowski’s own friendship being muddled.
