Milk or OJ?

Hi guys, in the movie UP , when russell is eating a hot dog he have a glass of
milk , then later is a glass of orange juice… did I see wrong? or PIXAR did it on
purpose?

I split this chat into its own thread. — Rachel. =)

It’s OJ the whole way, never saw milk. (believe me, I’ve seen the movie enough times, I guess you just remember wrong)

No I am pretty sure he had milk also. I haaave seen the movie 24 times. Im the biggest UP fan ever!!!

… I really hope you’ve got a big life-changing story and balloon-toting trip to the theater to back that up! That’s an awfully big claim, as anyone here would agree to. Not saying it’s not true, but I have a hard time believing it. I’m a huge huge huge HUUUUGE Up fan.

Welcome to the boards Ellie_Fan_123! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Sorry for getting off topic guys! :\

Does this prove that you are NOT the biggest UP fan in the world? If not, maybe I will just have to shove my UP coffee mug in your zitty face.

Wow, be careful, Ellie_Fan_123. That last sentence could be seen as a personal insult, of which we have a low tolerance for here at Pixar Planet. Unless you put a smiley face or something afterwards so it is known as a joke.

ffdude1906 and probably even wannabechef91 would be the biggest Up fans here so far, but that doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be room for more.

Ok, so I miss 1 detail, out of the millions in the movie. That doesn’t mean I appreciate and love the story less than you, which is what the movie is about in the first place, and why does it even matter? A fan isn’t determined by how much stuff they have, it’s how much they love what they’re a fan of, and that’s hardly something you can clearly represent, especially by putting down other people.

All I’m saying is that I love this movie. To DEATH. Quite possibly more than anything I’ve loved in my life other than my friends. If you say you love this movie more than your friends, so be it, but that’s hardly something worth flaunting in my opinion. Words cannot fully express how deep and meaningful this movie is to me, and I’m not about to start shoving trivia down your throat to prove my point.

If you’re starting to get hostile, my word ends here. I’ll have no part in it.

If you’re just being facetious, I apologize for hostile accusations and retract my defense. Not saying you don’t love the movie as much as me, but you’re getting a bit edgy about it.

It’s OJ. Well, I’m quite uncertain as the DVD/BD haven’t out yet. But I’m certain it’s OJ. When Russell pull away the glass, the glass is still orange instead of white. Okay, I can’t post the the proof, but hey, what’s the purpose I’m lying LOL.
I rewind-forward the scene, still…orange. I’m not being bias. But this is true. I saw it on the cinema for the 3rd time (to find mistakes. That’s why I don’t cry) still, I’m certain it’s orange.

I’m waiting for Mr. Ronnie del Carmen’s tweet reply. I hope he has a word for this.

Originally, I assumed it was milk (in an amber-colored glass), until someone here (I’m pretty sure ffdude) referred to it as OJ. Next time I went back, I thought, by golly, it is OJ! And if you think about it, where would Muntz get milk? (Unless it’s some 70 year old reconstituted powdered milk, and then - blech!! ) Whereas there could logically be various native fruits on the Tepui that, even if they’re not exactly oranges, could produce a similar fruit juice.

I thought it was milk but I’ve only seen the movie 4 times so watching Russell’s drink didnt come to my mind at all. I never noticed his drink changing color or anything.

It’s OJ. The milk was just Photoshopped.

Not surprised. Ellie_Fan_123 was a friend of mine pulling a prank on me. He’s teased me about my fandom before, but for him to actually come on here and start posting stupid stuff is taking it too far in my opinion. Don’t waste your posts on him. Needless to say, I’m a bit upset with him

That’s the end of that.

So yeah, it’s OJ.
