Well, I hope you do. I
think the color and shading bring out more in your art.

The Star
Swordsman - Thanks.
Well, I finished Helen. I was mad again this morning… (snigger)
I’m
sorry that the image is so dirty and “messed up”, but I did the best I could. When I get that
Photoshop… (heh)
I’m not sure if you can tell or not, but I did shade her a little bit – some edges
are darker than others. But, like I said, since I don’t have a tip-top image system/program, I can’t really do
much to clean the picture up. (sigh)
Nice drawing Helen is my favorite character in The Incredibles. Nice coloring
she looks so real.
Keep up the awesome work!!!
Texas - Thanks, Texas.
Sometimes it just takes some play wit the tools of trade,
all of my pics have only been scanned n cropped.
I love that Helen pic. It is absolutely incredible.
She looks nice. Great work.
Pixfan - Yeah, I had to experiment with the Paint tool many times
before I finally got the hang of it. I wish I had the cropping feature (like the one you have), though. It would
much things much easier.
The Star Swordsman
Update: Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas of/on
what I should sketch next? I really don’t have anything planned today, so if anyone wants a specific picture I
would be more than happy to draw it.
Well, I could suggest more Incredibles, but it is your
choice.
The Star Swordsman - Why
else do you think I asked for suggestions? I want 'em! Blast away…if you want another
Incredibles drawing. I’m up for anything.
Okay, I’ll suggest the Incredibles then.
Cool! Any particular character that you
would like me to draw?
Must I get out my list again? I would always suggest Violet then Helen, the Bob, etc.
Gosh – I keep forgetting
about that list! You know, I think I’ll try to draw Mirage this time – that’ll be a change…
Okay, you go on ahead.
Great picture, Mitch!
It really looks like Helen, especially the face shape and nose.
lizardgirl -
Thank you, lizardgirl!
Can I
suggest next time, you do a full body sketch?
The Star Swordsman - Heheh – I’ll do my best, but I am still
learning how to sketch out human arms, legs, and basic body shape. Trust me, it’s harder than it looks; one of
the reasons why I left Helen only half-finished was because I couldn’t figure out how to construct her body
shape. Heck, even the arms took at least five minutes to draw (I was trying to pick a good-looking pose).
Oh I see. I have always done trace and draw,
so I wouldn’t know. Never imagined it would be hard.
Yep – it takes a few years to master it, heheh. But
don’t worry, I’ll figure it out in the future.
