Mitch's Art

Maggie - Good question! Voila’! Le answer:

Yes. Hands are rather difficult to master, even after years of practice.

However, practice does make perfect. After a while, you’ll find that it will become

more and more simple to judge the position of hands and how they are constructed. I did, of course, need to use a

reference when drawing Violet’s hands and Violet herself, but sketching out body parts isn’t as challenging as

it used to be…since I’ve been doing it for so long now.

The funny thing is that I find hands easier to

draw than hair. Try and figure that one out… :unamused:

Yay Vi! She’s adorable Mitch. I like how

you handled the leather shine.

Maggie:
I know of some hand tutorials if you

want them.

Wow! :open_mouth: I’m impressed,

Mitch. You did a nice job with the coloring and getting the hands right.

Haunt - Heheh –

thank you very much!

sharpie - Thanks,

sharpie!

Next up: Remy making

ice tea. (Short story. I’ll explain it to you later…)

Oh, I love this drawing. Very nice coloring and shading.

After Remy, will you do

Mr. Waternoose?

Oh yes, I do want

them!

Bill -

Thank you! And yep – don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten about Waternoose.

Mitch - Just checking. You can never be too careful. Actually, maybe

I’ll start my own Mr. Waternoose sketch and save him when I finally manage to open my DeviantArt account.

Ah, I love this

“late” b-day present. Thanks Mitch. Nice job.

Bill - Yeah, you should give

it a shot!

The Star Swordsman - You are most welcome, dude. And thank

you!

I

just wish I that I could see more TI work from you next time. WHat do you say?

The Star

Swordsman - Heheh. Well, at the moment…I’m in a rather

“Ratatouillie-ish” mood; henceforth, you probably shouldn’t expect any

more “Incredibles”-related art in the near future unless I suddenly feel

like drawing one of the characters from that film.

I really do need to give myself and break and spend

some time doing the things I’d like to do, as I worked (or, should I say, stressed) myself to the bone all last

year. I’ll just take some time to relax and smell the roses.

The only other

“Incredibles” character you will probably see from me is Rick Dicker, as I

still have him to create. And then, of course, there is Waternoose as well…

So yeah. After Rick and

Waternoose I’m going to take a break from “free commissions”. Thank you for asking, though!

Ah I see. It makes sense that you are feeling

Ratatouille at the moment since it comes out in two weeks. Go and draw them to your pleasure.

Heheh – thank you for understanding my little

“dilemma”.

I’ll probably go Ratatouille-crazy after I see the

film tomorrow, by the way. Get ready to see alot of rat pictures… :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, I will. Made me all excited

already.

Take your time. Do what you feel like doing, when you

want to.

Gasduude - Heheh – thanks, dude.

Mitch- Nice work! Beautiful

lighting and shading, and the proportions are dead-on. The hands aren’t half bad either, especially considering

how difficult hands are to draw! I love Vi’s face, especially her smile, and overall this is a very good piece!

lizardgirl - Thank you very much! My sincere gratitude.

I did think think about drawing Waternoose this evening, but I…just can’t bring myself to do it.

I’m in love… Look at my signature. (sigh)
I can’t stop drawing the dude. It’s pitiful, and yet…it’s lovely. Heheh. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Feel free to draw Linguini if you want.
