Yeah that rat is pretty cool no way I can draw that
Slinky - Well, thank you.
The Good News: I have finally regained my composure and am able to write fluently and effectively again! Yipee and yee-haw!!
The Bad News: Artist’s block.
So I harnass my writing skills, yet I loose my artistic abilities? What’s up with that! It’s like a switch or…something. Ah heck, I’ll get back into the act soon.
Argh. I want to draw! This sucks, man. (snigger)
– Mitch
Welcome to my summer. No worries, kid. We’re patient folk.
Mitch: I feel ya sista, eva wonder why my work’s been so slow? No problems, I’ve considered a couple solutions to this though:
-
Look at other people’s art
-
Watch cartoons like CRAZY!
-
Take up some requests
These usually work fo me.
Good Luck!
Oh yea, what eva happened to takin a crack at the PPdA Contest? There’s still time, (I’m still workin on mine)
Have fun.
Mitch, if you need an idea, we can suggest you something. You probably know what I would want you to draw.
Haunt - High-five, dude. “Patient” is the word!
Pixfan - You know what? Option number two seems to work for me, as well! Observing other people’s artistic materpieces just makes me even more depressed and jealous, sorry to say, and taking up requests just makes it worse…as I never get to them in due time. I’m definitely going to have to change my tactics as far as the latter aspect goes. Heh.
Thanks fo’ da’ energy boost, though, sista’.
Gasduude - Sure thing. (snigger)
The Star Swordsman - Much obiged, dude. Unfortunately, accepting more suggestions just seems to make things worse, which is why am going to hold off from taking in any more requests after I finish drawing Waternoose. I may surprise you with a Violet sketch or two in the future, though, so don’t despair!
Haha. Yeah, I still want to take a shot at the thing, but I’ve been so tuckered out that I just might refrain from entering the contest altogether. I’ll just have to wait and see how I feel. Hopefully, I’ll be able to conjure something up before the contest itself ends… (snigger)
Very well then Mitch. I shall wait for your waternoose sketch. Good luck. Hope you post it up soon.
Haha. Thank you. So do I.
I’ve had a…umm…“emotional breakdown” lately after reading the last Harry Potter novel, so I may have to regain my “strength” to draw before taking up sketching again.
On second thought, I think I’m fine. Oh wait… Yeah, I forgot! My brief “artist’s block” moment has left!! Alright-y then. Back to drawing…
Horray! Mitch is back to drawing again! I’m glad for ya Mitch.
I can’t wait to see your drawings again, Mitch .
Thank you both!
Pixar Planet dA Summer Contest Entry:
Oh gosh. The blatant, yet idiotic, vulgarity of this is agonizing. Seriously, it’s not even funny. Even I wasn’t laughing as I was drawing this piece of junk…
But yeah – that was just a little thing for the contest. The real surprise (or, should I say, surprises) is on its way…
– Mitch
Well, it is really funny and really cute too. I love your idea Mitch. Really nice.
I love the classic Pixar ball sittin’ right there to the right in the sand.
Man, you did some great coloring with that. Wonderful job!
Lol, you may not think it’s funny, but I do!
Great job! (as always! ) Can’t wait to see those surprises…
Man, I can’t believe I didn’t upload my entry on time! I’m so frustrated!
Sorry, I just had to let it out… ^^;
Haha. Thanks, guys!
Maggie - Congratulations; you’re one of the first to actually laugh at that drawing!
By the way, you may still have time to submit an entry. Click on the link below and read lizardgirl’s third post:

Maggie - Sure thing!
I’m gonna begin that list of “surprises” today, by the way… (heheh)
I can’t wait to see your next one Mitch. The summer one made me relax again today though.
