Heheheh. That’s a really cute entry. It reminds me of some stories I read while doing some research about pet rats.
The Star Swordsman and The Wandering - Thank you both!
You’re welcome Mitch.
He-he. Emile looks really cute in that pic. I’m not exactly sure what a “digball” is, though.
Mitch, this is ridiculously cute. Looks like they’re having a blast!
rachel - Ha! Is my penmanship that bad? It actually says “big ball” – heheh.
Haunt - Thank you, Haunt!
Oh ok. It’s just when the picture is minimised, the “B” looks like a “D”. My mistake.
rachel - Truth be told, almost all of my capital 'B’s end up looking like 'D’s. I’ve gotta change that…
He-he. Yeah…
BTW, have you finished your surprise, yet?
rachel - Welp, not yet. The surprise is actually a
“series” of surprises. You’ll see what I mean later on (today,
hopefully…).
You’re making me nervous,
Mitch . Let’s see that “series” of surprises.
I can’t wait to see it Mitch.
I’m a gettin’ on it…! (snigger)
I wish my
summer wasn’t so busy, then I would have more time to do these things. After these “surprises” I’m
going to take a break from doing any requests. Heh.
Well, that’s fair enough if you don’t want to take requests. Most people (including me)
request the same stuff over and over again, anyway. I can’t wait to see the “series” of
surprises!
rachel - Right back at ya’. Thanks.
Well, this isn’t one of the “series of surprises” yet, but I felt like I had to post it:
- Don’t ask.
- Don’t ask, and
- … Don’t ask.
Let’s just say that my sister and I were extremely bored one night and had…umm…a little too much soda to drink.
Credits:
- Original Concept: My sister and I
- Original drawing: My dad*
*Keep in mind that my dad drew the initial drawing, even though my sister and I conjured up the original concept of a drunk Remy. Being an animator (and a comedic one at that), dad obviously invented a few things that could be added to the piece, such as Remy’s tail hanging through/upon one of the holes in the block of cheese.
Also keep in mind that the drawing you see above was drawn by me. I just looked at dad’s version and copied it as best I could.

Oh … my … gosh …
dies laughing
Your sister and you are crazy! Yay for crazy people! I love it!
Maggie - Haha. Well thanks, Maggie!
Yeah, my sister and I are pretty crazy. Truth be told, we hadn’t laughed as hard as we did in a very loooong time that particular night, but I’m so glad we did. I’m actually really tempted to post the whole backstory behind that drawing, but I did announce to everyone not to ask, soooo…
Mitch - OMG, hahahah, that’s hilarious! This is a great
drawing, period. I like how you drew the way he is holding the wine glass. I’ve tried holding my glass like
that at restraunts, just to see if I can pull it off. I also like that you used the blue pencil again
for this peice, very nice.
Not bad for the first surprise. Where is that Waternoose
drawing? Is that on your list of surprises?
Bill - Yep. Gotta love that blue pencil! Heheh.
Actually, my mom told all of us (my dad, sister, and I) that Remy is holding the wine glass wrong – if
you hold it in that position, you warm up the wine. On the plus side, it makes the picture all the more
appealing! (snigger)
I like holding it that way too, though. It makes one look more…sophisticated.
Thank you, Bill!
First of all, that particular drawing is not the first surprise. It’s merely a
side sketch that I felt I had to post. Heheh.
Secondly, you are correct, sir! The upcoming Waternoose
drawing is for you, dude, as I know you’ve been waiting for it for, like, two
thousand years.

He-he. Suuuuuure, Mitch. Since when does soda come in a wine bottle, anyway? I
like it. It’s really funny. Was it inspired by this part of Ratatouille?

gets drunk[/spoil]
I haven’t seen the movie, I think I saw it in a trailer, or 9-min preview
or something. And I would love to see your dad’s version of the drawing.
