Mitch's Art

The Star Swordsman - Dang it! I was trying to make it look like hair, but oh well. I appreciate the critique. Thank you!

Maggie - Thanks, dude!

– Mitch

Oh no, it was a complement! I knew it was supposed to be hair, but something in my mid thought it was something else. Still very good though

I love the shading on your latest one, Mitch- it’s definitely improved with practice. Good work!

Sorry I took me so long to actually see what you’ve done…

Thanx Mitch! feels loved If you post/ posted it on dA I’ll make sure I fav it!

BTW your last one looks great! thumbs up

Rats is definitely what you draw best Mitch

Awesome work on Remy, especially the shading.

aaah Mitch that’s amazing! Thank you  I needed that cos they’re showing Ratatouille tomorrow in Edinburgh and I am going to be IN Edinburgh but NOT seeing it, so I still have to wait for October! gutted! haha I love your solid little rats – his expression is great XD

the weight in the one you did for pixfan is really good, too – he has a lot of presence!

your tony sketch was great, too - don’t knock yourself. Humans are hard to draw just as they are, nevermind as cartoons – I still tear my hair out haha. keep practicing!

The Star Swordsman - Ahh – I see! Now that I look at it again, I can see how the hair could be mistaken for grain/straw.

No sweat, dude! Thanks again.

lizardgirl - Thank you very much! I absolutely love to shade. It’s one of my favorite parts of sketching, actually…

Pixfan - Thanks, dude! I’m glad you like your picture! Oh, and I’ll be sure to post it on dA, as well.

Archibald - Oh yes, I love drawing ratties. Heheh.

Thank you, sir!

vim - Yay! I’m glad you like it!

Thanks for the comments! I really appreciate it.

Oh, and don’t worry – I know the wait is long, but it will definitely be worth it. 'Tis the best movie in the universe (er…, in my opinion anyway – heheh)!

– Mitch

Totally welcome Mitch.

For Texas Loves Pixar!:

“Ah! It’s Buster!” - Rex

Dogs normally don’t agree with me as far as pencil compositions go, as I’ve always had a rather difficult time depicting them on paper via a pen or pencil; however, Buster seemed to be an exception.

Drawn with a traditional, black pencil.
Enhanced in/on Photoshop CS.

– Mitch

Aww Mitch, Buster looks really, really cute! YOu draw dog characters really well. I love his little tounge-face.

Awesome!I’ve had trouble with certain things too but I always manage.

The Star Swordsman and Annoying - Well, thank you both, dudes! I really appreciate it.

– Mitch

Totally welcome Mitch.

Aww! Buster! I love the shading!

The Wandering - Thanks, dude!

– Mitch

I absolutely love your Ratatouille art! Especially the drawings of movie stills. Could you maybe draw Skinner sometime?

Marie - Thank you very much, Marie!

I actually did draw Skinner some time back, and I do have to admit that he was alot of fun to sketch. I suppose I could draw him again sometime, but I can’t really promise that. Actually, all requests are currently closed for the moment, so you may have to wait for a second Skinner drawing. I’ll keep it in mind, though!

– Mitch

I’m very patient, so I can wait a while. I’ll probably do some more of my own art as well soon (if I get time).

Oh I remember that Skinner drawing Mitch!

Wow, Mitch! The shading is incredible! :open_mouth:
You’re gettin’ better and better all the time! Keep it up!
