Mitch- A strong, colourful, unique style! I love it!
Almost looks like the TI beginning animations. I love that drawing there, Mitch. Would look great as a desktop wallpaper…
The Star Swordsman - Haha! Well, you’re welcome! I’m glad you like it.
Maggie - Puh-ha! That whole “Dude…Dude!!” thing cracked me up.
Thank you!
lizardgirl and Gasduude - Thank you both very much!
Please keep in mind that I actually copied that stylish drawing from an “Incredibles” sticker book that I own. It is not an original piece of mine (although I did have a blast drawing it – heheh).
The next drawing is for Gasduude! Keep an eye out… (heheh)
– Mitch
Mitch - Ashley and I were just going through your art last night and we both thought that you have such an awesome variety of styles in your pieces and they are all really well done! It’s impressive, keep it up!
Sheila and Ashley - Well, thank you very much, dudes! I sincerely appreciate it.
– Mitch
For Gasduude:
My apologies in that the quality of the picture itself is rather poor. It didn’t come out the way I wanted it to, as the lighting effects are simply too dark. I told my sister that it looked horrible and she said, “Yeah, it does”. It was so hilarious.
The only thing that I like about this picture is Remy’s anatomy. I finally got him on model, thank goodness… (snigger)
Heh. Yeah, sorry about the quality. I’m experiencing an emotional breakdown right now, so don’t expect to see anything noteworthy.
– Mitch
How can you say that, Mitch ? The quality’s good. I paticularly love the way Remy was drawn in this one. The coloring as well, very ncely done.
Aw, so cute! I love how you made their expressions.
Very nicely done Mitch! Ireally like it! The coloring looks absoultely magnificent! Keep it up! GD will love it.
Dude, Mitch! That looks awesome!
Heh. You guys are hilarious. The picture that I hate the most is the one you guys like.
Well, thanks, dudes! I appreciate it.
– Mitch
Well Mitch, we will like any art work you post up here. You are just too good.
You are your own toughest critic. But my voice teacher always tells me (and I think it can be applied to art as well) that if you’re judging yourself while you’re performing – or, er, drawing – then you aren’t putting yourself into it as well as you can. So go, release all your inhibitions, let your creativity flow onto the paper, enjoy it, and it’ll be something magical that you will love!
rereads Wow, that’s cheesy. But seriously, relax. We love your art.
sheila
The Star Swordsman - Well, thanks.
Sheila - I don’t think it’s cheesy at all! It makes perfect sense, actually. I ususally don’t judge my compositions as I’m creating them; it’s only after I’ve finished the entire piece that I come down to criticizing it in some way, if criticism seems needed. You’re right, though. I shouldn’t take it too hard on myself, but hey – that’s me! I’ll have to change that. (snigger)
Thanks, dude.
Update/Edit: The next drawing is for Bill! You know what that means, Bill…
– Mitch
Mitch: You are welcome.
I can’t wait, Mitch . I’ve been waiting for that one for a long time…
Bill - Yeah, I owe you big time, Bill! You deserve this one, dude.
– Mitch
Sorry I’m late: I love “my” drawing, Mitch! I don’t know what to say. …it’s awesome, I can tell ya’ that! Thank you!
Gasduude - Heheh. You are most welcome, dude! I’m glad you like it.
– Mitch
Bill - Although I have not started work on Waternoose yet, I have not forgotten my promise. I intend to draw him sometime next week…when I find the time to do so. I would draw it tomorrow, but I’m going to Disneyland that day so I won’t have any “appropriate” time to carry out the request.
Don’t despair, dude! You’re going to get Waternoose. Don’t worry.
In the meantime, I happened to cook up this:
I finally got Colette on model! She’s a rather difficult character to sketch out on paper, but practice makes perfect!
