The knowledge of that scene and the way how you matched it with such a grim picture of Wall-E’s ‘epic fail’ made me chuckle, Mitch (I know it’s so wrong… )! Reminded me of Buzz’s video-game ‘demise’ in the Toy Story 2 opening. The first sig is my definite fave!
Although I’ve watched all the Star Wars films, it’s been ages and I’m not much of a fan, so I didn’t catch the Docking Bay 94 reference (I had too google it!). But smart in-joke nonetheless!

The quote in the third signature is one that I thought up on the spur of the moment, although I don’t think I can say that it’s entirely original since I could have sworn that I’ve heard it uttered in some other film before. Huh. I’ll have to get back to you on that one of these days…
Yep! The fourth screen shot was from a deleted scene that can be located on the first disc of the two-/three-disc WALL•E DVD (or Blu-Ray) set. I believe that the name of the clip is called “Docking”.
