Modding a closed mouth Woody - advice?

Is there any way I can turn any of the Woody dolls- 1995, 1999, 2010, into one with a closed mouth like Andy’s.

My main problem lies with the stiffness and lack of plasticity of the vinyl heads, and the curvature of the open smile that may or may not allow a good closure once the molded teeth are cut out and removed.

If one searches Barbie tooth removal, you can see how this is done on Barbie heads, however Barbie has an softer and more pliable head. -Omar

I wouldn’t reccomend modifying it. His head is made of a durable material that tends to go back to its original shape. There used to be holes in his neck from the stand, but it reverted back to normal in about a day.

Besides, if you’re looking to make it look like Andy’s, there’s more that would need to be done than just the mouth. The eyebrows need to be symetrical, and the eyes need to be fully open.

It would take a lot of work to modify it from the original, so it might just be easier to make a custom head completely (if you do this, using a glossier material, like what’s used in his hands will make him look better). Then again, I’m simply happy with the way my Toy Story Collection Woody looks already, because I have a funny feeling this is just about as accurate as it’s going to get.
