The british model train company Hornby is doing a model of the train used in Toy story 3.

I am a huge model train colelctor and I almost passed out when I saw this one. The engine looks pretty good. its short a few cars but im not complaining. this was too interesting to pass up.
Very cool. though the lack of cars sucks.
And whats with everyone there poo poohing the idea? bunch of elitists. What, Toy Story fans don’t deserve high quality train sets? Clearly we’re all 5 year olds who wouldn’t know the difference between that and a fisher price set, right?
I know. I cant stand that either. Thomas the Tank engine fans who are mostly 3 and 5 year olds get quality train sets. why cant we? Hopefully they release some add on cars or something so we can make a train true to the film.
How many did Andy have in the real world? (As opposed to the play sequence).
Read a bit more and I think I get it now… the lack of a tender seems to be the thing their complaining about. I care about that only if it was in the movie. Will have to check to see is the movie had one.
Edit: looks like it did, at least in the imagination world. cant really make out the VHS footage tough.
How much is that in US dollar and where can I get one? Is it in scale- as in the size of the toy one Andy had in the film? -Omar
Haha, I love it! Such a good idea! And I agree with you guys, why shouldn’t there be good quality Toy Story 3 merchandise? This is the sort of stuff that will get both the adults and the kids buying it.
