Did anyone else who stuck through the end titles notice that the film had a disclaimer stating that the film was 100% pure animation, saying that no motion capture was used in the making of the film. I thought that was pretty funny since the last Pixar film, Cars lost best animated feature to a film that was 100% Motion Capture (which isn’t real animation in my mind).
I must admit that it got a pretty big “whoop” from my dad and I. We were clapping like crazy for Brad Bird and his genious idea to put that in there. ![]()
Yeah I loved that!! Which is funny because wasn’t there recently some news post about Ratatouille using motion capture? And I was so shocked about that … but clearly it’s not true. Pixar would only do something like that if they knew there was no way for THEM to do it and it made sense.
Either way - I totally applaud them for that. ^^ It was a cute disclaimer!
Haha, that’s hilarious! That’s like saying, “Um, yah, you won an Acamedy Award… fine… but at least WE use real animation! BAAAAM!”
Aggie, as you can see, I used one of your icons. Do you plan to create any more?

So this movie will with Best Animated Feature automaticly because it didn’t use 100% Motion Capture right?
I think it was pretty cool.
I thought that was cute at the end…i was hoping for something more, like bloopers, or something like that…Oh well. ![]()
Thanks for using it! I might make more if I have the time.
Movie clip icons do take a while… heh.
