What’s Marmaduke?
Buzz&Woodyforever: I know this answer is REALLY late , but, Marmaduke is a newspaper comic strip, created and drawn by Brad Anderson, which is basically about a family and their Great Dane.
I’ve never actually read the comic strip, but I’ve heard that it wasn’t that good… (along with the movie, but that was even worse )
I hate adaptations almost as much as remakes. What’s with all these movies based on 80’s cartoons? Jease, without Pixar, I would have no movies to watch.
IncredigirlVirginia: I agree with you, although, there are usually a few good movies out per year that aren’t made for the money and are not remakes or adaptations.
For example, Christopher Nolan’s Inception looks like a really great, and complex, movie. The ideas of this movie, and it’s dream world, are really intriguing.
You mean, Inception? Well, the movie will probably huge anyway, by watching the trailer.
Well this topic is kinda dead. Anyway, here are some posters I saw from the last time I was at the movies
Buried- Looks interesting
Some Movie With People Ripping Pictures Of Peoples Faces- Not another dumb 90 minute romantic comedy!
The Social Network- Looks great I think
Tron Legacy- I am really excited for this movie!
Wall Street Money Never Sleeps- Another Political Drama, Moves On
The Karate Kid- The Movie has been out for a while, no need for the poster to still be up.
Avatar Re-Release-
The Last Exorcism-
I don’t really have any favourite movie posters, I’m not sure. But the posters I have on display in my room are Edward Scissorhands (1990), Casablanca (1942) and Invictus (2009). I think they are all very good movies.
Last Tuesday I saw Scott Pilgrim, here are the posters.
The Social Network- Looks cool.
Jacka$$ 3D-Meh
Megamind- Looks interesting, might see it
The Guardians Of …-
Devil- Will M.Night finally make a good movie? Lets hope so!
You Again-
Faster- The Rock is finally no longer in kids movies and finally is serious.
Well, this thread has been lying in the ground for a while now, so, let’s see if I can bring it back up.
-
Harry Potter 7 (Part 1): It was a pretty alright movie. It wasn’t the best Harry Potter film that I’ve seen yet, but it was still pretty entertaining.
-
Pirates Of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides: Meh. I might have to see the other three films first, before I see it, 'cause I haven’t actually seem them yet…
-
Hop: It’s from Illumination Entertainment, yet it looks like an Alvin & the Chipmunks clone. I’ll have to wait for a review of it, before I think about seeing it.
-
The Green Hornet: I’d actually rather see another Green-themed superhero movie that’s coming out later this year instead, but, if I have the time to, I might check it out.
-
Cars 2: You can bet I’ll be seeing this one, for sure.
-
Kung Fu Panda 2: I did like the first film, but, since DreamWorks announced about six sequels for Kung Fu Panda, I guess I shall wait 'til a review or another trailer, at least, comes out, before I start thinking about seeing it. I’m not saying it’ll be bad or anything (heck, it could even be better than I expected), but you never really know, until you’ve seen it to believe it…
I can’t remember very many of the posters from my last visit to the theater, except I did remember seeing the Cars 2 poster.
But at my local theater, they have the posters for Harry Potter and Tangled, and 2 other moves that I forget…
Saw Narnia, here are the posters I remember
Hop-Ugh…
Black Swan…Looks nice
The Green Hornet…Horrible poster
Cowboys and Aliens-I wanna see this but the poster sucks
Battle:Los AnglesLooks amazing!
