Just thought this would be some interesting news.

“Monsters” should be on there too. The rest are okay, maybe “Ratatouille” ranked closer to 1 and knock back “Shrek” and “Lion King”. They should also add “Aladdin” and “Lilo and Stitch”.

Lilo and Stitch…wasn’t the storyline rather vague??

I’d think that Meet the Robinsons would be placed…but maybe that’s just me.

Lilo & Stitch and Meet the Robinsons, really? Sure they may have been good, but in no way I feel they’re among the best animated films ever.

As for Monsters Inc. not making the list… That’s too bad, I wish it did. I feel Monsters Inc. is vastly under-appreciated.

I think that every pixar film should be on that list. And Toy Story 2 on #18! It should be on number #1 or #2! That’s ridiculous! I hate this list

Of course Cars didn’t make it. No one likes Cars as much except for a few chosen Pixar fans.

Heck, it’s just someone’s list, not THE LIST! Who has the right to write THE LIST anyway? My philosophy is, you tell me what animated films you like, I tell you who you are! And for someone who ranks Shrek well above Ratatouille, and in the Top 5 for pete’s sake (whoever that Pete is), and has the guts to not put Monsters, INC., Bug’s Life and Cars on the list, huh… My judgment brows are off the charts.

I’ve no angst against DreamWorks, as you might think, I loved Kung Fu Panda and considered it the most ‘watchable’ among DW’s slate. But Shrek is just wrong. It’s just a collection of funny animated gags, where the only good point you’ll learn has already been learned from other animated movies.

Edited. I combined both of your posts. – Mitch

This is just one list everybody. We all have different opinions on animated movies and we all have our own lists. I can agree and disagree with the selections. But remember, it is just one list. THat doesn’t really change my opinion on anything.

That’s the whole point of these lists you know. To get people talking and say things like “why is this movie ranked this way??” and “Why isnt MY movie on the list??” If we all agreed there’d be no point in making lists, as we’d all know what should be on there.

Now for my opinion: I’ve seen a list like this before that had Toy Story on top and I still dont agree with it. I love Toy Story, but I wouldnt place it as the best. I personally would want Aladdin, but I could also see TLM, or Beauty & The Beast on top as well. I would think Aladdin should have been there someplace. Snow White I never liked, but I know why it’s there.

I’m assuming that they put Toy Story as number one because it was such an important movie for 3D animation.

I’m glad most of my favorites were on. I’m still surprised that Monsters Inc. didn’t make it though .
