Actually, I’ve already seen it, my bro’s the one who hasn’t seen it yet. But I love it and I want see it again. My best friend is in love with Tangled, and since she’s my clone, I’m 100% sure I’ll love it.
EJE: It’s public domain, so there should be tons of copies online.
Thanks! I’ll need to find it.
How cool…I should watch that pretty soon.
These are the movies I’ve seen recently.
Goodfellas
Carlito’s Way
Cool Hand Luke
A Single Man
Dress Code
Moonstruck
Waking Sleeping Beauty
North by Northwest
I still need to see Waking Sleeping Beauty.
Black Swan: B: This film was entertaining, and I enjoyed the ballet sequences. However, I felt like I was being deprived of better transformation scenes, and I disliked the enormous amount of sexuality in this movie. So, for my own bad tastes, a B, even though it appearently deserves an A.
I finally got to see Back to the Future! It was very entertaining, and deserving of its praise and fame. I usually avoid stories involving excessive time travel because they’re difficult for me to follow most of the time, but this was well done and easily understandable. It was at a sleepover, and I got to see Fantastic Mr. Fox again. I still have a lot of good things to say about that movie, too.
There was an actual DeLorean display at my city cinema, they’re having a charity movie marathon of the last two movies today!
I got a chance to watch Tangled again. Such a beautiful movie. I love it. I can watch this over and over again. It is my favorite Disney movie.
American Graffiti: I love this film! It is truly a classic. One reason it was really great for me personally, was the fact it was filmed about 15 minutes away from my town, so a lot of the places I recognized. I drive on the strip where they did the final drag race when I go to my cousin’s house! Anyway, a lovely movie. I give it an A!
Leirin: I love all three of them!
Jeremiah: C: Well, this was okay. But it was pretty obvious it was a TV movie, and Patrick Dempsey was not a very convincing Middle Eastern prophet. I didn’t really enjoy it, my mom fell asleep again, and my dad seemed pretty in tune, but he repeatedly eye-rolled at the terribly religious parts.
Ice Age: B?
I haven’t seen this movie since I was about…9, maybe? Anyway, I was home alone this morning, and decided to watch it on TV. It was actually quite nice. Better than I remembered.
I went to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules today.
I loved it, mainly because the actor that plays Rodrick is extremely attractive. It’s an entertaining movie, aside from that.
Rating: B-
I saw Ratatouille today on ABC Family. Every time I watch it, it makes me hungry.
Same here! Even the scene when Remy finds the bread. The bread, cheese, and wine look so good, makes me want to dine on them!
Exactly! Funny thing was, I was eating a late dinner when I was watching the movie. And I had just finished my food when Linguini started cooking the sweetbread dish. Low and behold, my stomach started growling again.
LOL! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
I am currently watching Disney animated classics in historical order (not Snow White to Tangled, but Dinosaur to WALL-E) with my sister.
We’ve recently watched Home on the Range, which was actually more enjoyable than I remember. Why do people hate it so much? Sure, it’s not as powerful or beautiful as something like Beauty and the Beast or Lilo & Stitch, but it’s still creative and funny. It’s like the same mood as The Emperor’s New Groove. “Ok. Let’s go throgh this one more time. Who am I?” “Uncle Slim?” “That’s right. Now I put on my hat. And I put on my spectacles…” “AHH! Who’re you?! What have you done to Uncle Slim?”
Another movie we’ve watched (outside of the Disney timeline) just yesterday was Splash. It was okay. What bothered me is how many times “Madison” passionately kissed Allen before they even introduced themselve.
Aw, I wish you did from Snow White to Tangled. My mom says Snow White is boring, but I love it.
She hates everything. I’ve only seen pieces of Home on the Range, but I don’t think it seems that bad, either. I think it’s exactly what you said, though, BDD. People dislike movies like HOTR and Atlantis because they’re different from the 90s movies. Is it close-minded? Absolutely. Stupid? I think so, and very annoying. But after the 90s, people just had such high expectations for Disney, that Shrek replaced Mickey Mouse in the public’s heart. Just a guess, since I like almost all of them.
Hereafter: A: Man, this film was amazing! I won’t say much, because the entire thing is a spoiler. But it’s great.
Agora: C: It was historically accurate and had Rachel Weisz. Great. Other than that, it was garbage, overly boring, and too much religious arguing for me. Yuck.
In historical order, BDD? That sounds like a great idea!
