Hello, You know, I am just as anxious for Wall E as most of you, but it wasn’t always that way with me. Here is my personal story about how I first found out about Wall E.
It all started when I rented the Ratatouille video game last summer (which was very fun by the way) So I play the game for a while, and I get enough points to unlock some videos. I thought, Hey, I can watch movie clips! (I had not seen ratatouille yet) So I unlock a few videos, and I see one labeled Wall E. I was like “What in the world?” so I watch the Wall E vid and I think "
This trailer is SO retarted!" I didn’t even know, not in a thousand years, that this was the next Pixar movie, I actualy thought that Wall Es were going to go down into the sewers and clean up where the rats in Ratatouille lived!!!
But when I heard all the future-istic terms, I soon thought, “Of course not!” But I was still stumped on this wall e mystery.
So then I go on the pixar site a few days later, (it serousily needs updating) and when I go to the theater page, there is a trailer for Wall E!! I thought 'OH NO, THIS IS THE NEXT PIXAR MOVIE!?!?" I tried watching the trailer, but all that came up was the Ratatouille trailer.
So now I can’t stop thinking about this “Stupid” Pixar Movie.
Until I saw Ratatouille.
With the new Wall E trailer in front of it.
That trailer not only gave me an inside look on the best pixar films,
It gave me a serious change of heart with Wall E.
When I saw that lone cute Wall E looking at the stars, along with that trailer’s tagline that most of you know by know, that’s all it took for me to fall in love with him, and I have been ever since that fateful day.
Since then I am eagerly waiting for June 27th, watching every trailer along the way.
And the rest is history.
Thank yo for sharing your story
. Its nice to see the growing population of WALL-E fans.
I can relate, though my opinion changing moment was when I saw the final trailer. I didn’t think it was gonna be terrible, but when I heard the idea of a robot love story, I was a liiittttle worried. I was kinda “
Is this a rumor? Uh… apparently not… this is… different…” but I learned from Nemo to trust these guys, so I held my opinion.
The truth is, what worried come to think of it, was kinda the idea for EVE. I guessed I imagined her NOTHING like what it really was. When I got to see her character and her dynamic with the main character in the theatrical trailer, that was my major change of heart. Once again, Stanton makes me feel dumb for doubting him. XD
The strange thing I thought about wall e that I thought at first was that I did not know this would be the next movie, my very first thought was that he was a way of cleaning out the rats out of the sewer in Ratatouille! ![]()
Yeah, I was sort of a wierd thinker back then! XD ![]()
I am staying off of the WALL•E threads, but this is an exception because not only did I not look at that, but this thread should go in the Fan Fiction section of PixarPlanet. If you could move it there, please… ![]()
Would this be considered fan fiction? It seems more of a “what got us crazy for this movie” thread to me. But I’m new here, so I could easily be wrong. ^^;
This is not fan fiction!!
This is my real story about my real experences with wall e!
