My goodness, this is a great list! Also cool that you include stuff like Pink Floyd The Wall, even if it’s only partially animated. I’ve been wanting to see a great deal of the movies included on this list, as well. I’m pretty curious about Fritz the Cat, even if I probably won’t be allowed to see it for several more years.

That’s an impressive list. I like how you included Akira at number one. That film was great.

Thanks, i adored Akira since i was 14 going on 15 about 16 years ago and it was love at first sight after hearing so many great things about it even in magazine articles and left a big impression on me.

Any of these your faves?

Great list! Love the inclusion of Fantastic Planet…not a lot of awareness/interest there these days.

Nice list! Way to put us all to shame! 8D I like that you included Persepolis, that’s one of my favourite non-Pixar films

I. Love that list!!! Dude, that is pure, unconcentrated amazingness right there.

Great list! I have a list like that but its of every animated movie I’ve ever seen and its only 69 films long.

Any of these movies anyone’s faves?

Your number 14 is my all-time favourite
Film, btw, not just animated film.

I like the Ghibli ones aswell, although not as much as I’m into Pixar & Disney. But Princess Mononoke is pretty brilliant.

Love The Iron Giant. I didn’t realise it was Brad Bird’s film until a couple of years back, I used to watch that loads as a kid.

Oh, and I cry everytime at Watership Down. We had to watch that in junior school at one point, and half the class were hysterical.

Persepolis & Triplets of Belleville; two brilliant French films, sadly overlooked by the vast majority.

If it was my list, I would’ve added the Aardman films (Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit) and as a guilty pleasure, the animated Lord Of The Rings. However, it isn’t of course, my list. I’m just observing and commenting. And I think it’s brilliant

Lord of the Rings was ok but Peter Jackson’s movie destroys it

I like all of the vies on your list, except ones I didn’t see.

WALL-E and Akira are personal faves. Just curious, did you see (and like) The Brave Little Toaster?

Same here. Only animated, not my favorite of all time.

I can’t believe you figured all of them out! Now that’s dedication to animation.
