Yeah, I’ve been watching that Wikipedia page. I can’t wait for this movie!

Seems good but will have to wait to see the first one before I view this one.

This was my second favorite movie of 2004. now they are coming out with a sequel. i can not wait to see it. I am so excited.

As if the first one wasn’t bad enough… No offense! No offense…

Nah – I think I’ll pass on this one. Thanks for the information, though!

You didn’t like the first one Mitch? I can understand. Is there a reason why?

Haha – yeah, I hated it. Here ya’ have it:

Reason #1: Nicolas Cage scares me. Don’t know why. (snigger)

Reason #2: I dunno. The story was interesting and had alot of nice and mysterious twists and turns to it, but I wasn’t too thrilled with how the overall plot was constructed.

I dunno. I just didn’t like it. Heheh. And the prize didn’t seem very satisfying either. A chamber filled with gold and priceless artifacts? What’s exciting about that? Why not add some… – I dunno – …some ancient medieval power or poisonous snakes or something? (snigger) Maybe it’s just me? :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay, that is understandable. I love that movie because i love history. (You can thank Sarah Vowell for that. I love a great adventure tale. And I love solving the mystery and clues as the movie rolls along.

Well cha, the whole “mystery and puzzles” concept was awesome – I love those things! And I’m starting to like history more myself now, to tell you the truth. But the film just…didn’t do it for me. Oh well. Perhaps I should watch it again and give it another chance? After all, I only saw it once. Heheh.

Ah, you should. National Treasure really inspired me in many ways. For example, i am writing an Incredibles fanfic with a theme of National Treasure.

hehe - I <3 National Treasure.

A) I like Nicholas Cage

B ) Is a politics/history buff

C) Likes action flicks

D) The Declaration signer (Charles Carroll) that gives the secret to the Gates family is an ancestor of mine.

=D

Oh boy, lucky Dash. i bet you were excited to see this movie when you heard it had to do with the Decloration of the Independence.

Now that makes 2 people I know who have anscestors to the signers of the Decloration.

Actually I didn’t know he was in it until I saw it and was totally psyched when he just randomly showed up in the beginning.

hehe - Ironically this was the first movie I saw in theaters since The Incredibles which had occupied my previous five viewings. So to think that it could interupt the number of times I would see that you know it must be good! =D

Dash - Wow – how cool!

Well, I must be the only one who dislikes this film. Must be just me. :stuck_out_tongue:

That is okay mitch. But I do strongly encourage you to watch the second film. Maybe that could change your mind.

National Treasure is one of my fav film! and I can not wait for the 2nd!

The Star Swordsman - …and waste my money on that when I could be using it to buy the Ratatouille dvd, which will come out this December?! :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)

Heheh – well, we’ll see. I’ll watch the first one again sometime and then decide whether or not I’ll go and see the second one.

Well, just go and see it. The first one was pretty good according to the general audience. Who knows? maybe this one could be even better.

Well we al have our thoughts about National Treasure. Personaly I liked the movie. can’t wait for this new one to come out.
And Mitch this is one of those things where you get some else to spend their money for you to see it so you would have no money lost

I enjoyed this film alot . . . Jon Voight was a

great part of the cast.

And the actor who played Riley Pool was hilarious (I love his role in

“Failure to Launch”).

I don’t know about a second National Treasure (the ending was kinda open

ended, but the commentary specifically stated that they chose that ending rather than the one they first did

because they had no intention for a sequel . . . or something like that. I haven’t seen the DVD in two

years.)

But I’ll probably give it a shot.
