National Treasure 2:Book of Secrets

Ah, that is understandable DD.

You are right about the the original National Treasure was going to be the first and last National Treasure movie. But the first movie’s revenue from the box offices changed disneys mind.

Well, money shouldn’y be the reason to have a sequel, but I only pray that the story is good.

3 days till the movie comes out. So whos going to see it in theaters when it come out?

I will see it on the weekend it comes out or after it comes out.

I saw it today. If you liked the first you shall definitley like this one. It’s nothing special filmmaking wise but is a lot of fun to watch. [spoil]I still maintain that everything is a little too convenient[/spoil].

3.5/5 rating from me. I missed the previews in front so didn’t see if the new WALL•E trailer was attached. The new Narnia one is though.[/spoil]

I saw it last night. I liked it just as much as the first one. I think it had its own power spots, but overall, both the original and the sequel were very enjoyable. I reccomend you guys to see it.

I thought it was almost the same as National Treasure, but it was a little bit better than the first one.

I know my mom wants to go see it, she saw the first one. As for myself, I need to watch the first one before go seeing the sequel.

DisneyDreamer: That would be a good idea. If I can recall, there are some stuff that they mention in the second one that you would have to see the first one to understand it.

I went to see this movie a week ago. It was actually pretty good! I enjoyed it,and I recommend it to everyone.

I really liked the movie too, it was so action packed and fun to watch, it never got boring. but out of the whole reel, my favorite part was the Goofy cartoon: “How to Hook Up Your Home Theatre”.

JF: Oh yeah, that one. I love it too. In fact, the Goofy cartoons with a step-by-step instruction theme are my favorite.

Weird how Disney stole all of Pixar’s genius. :imp:    :imp:

Quick Off-Topic-ness: Disney didn’t “steal” short films, they’ve been doing them since forever, even before Snow White, actually John Lasseter suggested that they get back to doing shorts AND 2-D animation, so it wasn’t stealing, it was continuing tradition.

Just currious. At the end of the movie, did anybody get the idea that there will be a National Treasure 3? Wasn’t there some sort of hint at th end after he found the treasure?

TSS: Oh, you must be referring to [spoil]page 47 of the Book of Secrets.[/spoil] I’ve finally found out what’s on that [spoil]page: It’s the Star Trek outline![/spoil] xDDDDDDD!!!

Page 47, I believe could be our only clue. But I after watching it, I was like “MORE!!! MORE!! PLEASE!!!”

TSS- I did think about NT3 only because somebody in the theater screamed “sequel!” during page 47.
PS- When you where talking about the Goofy cartoon you wrote JF, but JesusFreak wasn’t talking about it. I was.
A113- What do you even mean by Disney stealing Pixar’s genius, if I understood you right then that proposterous for my above reasons.
