Need help fixing my broken Burger King Lenny

I’m not sure if this is where this topic should go but whatever.

As you probably can tell by the title, I need your guy’s help. I don’t know what’s wrong but whenever I wind Lenny up his feet hardly move and stop at a certain point. I’m not sure if the spring is broken or something but I’m not sure how I should take it apart. I don’t want to damage him as Lenny’s one of my favorites and I’m not sure where my extra BK Lenny is. (I don’t know for sure if the extra one works or not)

I blame the age of the mechanism in the toy. I would say purchasing another one might help but it eventually could run into the same problem. Try playing with it’s feet a little to see if it moves. Other than that, I would just leave it alone.
