New(ish) Usergroup: The Studio & People!

Hey Pixar Planeteers,

I’ve been away from the “Planet” on its strange and wonderful moon, otherwise known as Upcoming Pixar. I want to take this moment to apologize for my lack of posts over here, although I will admit that school, the blog and the general day-to-day struggles of my personal life have taken a considerable amount of my free time.

Anyway, I want to introduce everyone to a new(ish) usergroup: “The Studio & People”!

As you know, usergroups are designed to show your passion for a certain segment of Pixar fandom. We have fan art, videos, fanfics and more in addition to every film franchise in the Pixar cannon. But it wasn’t until recently that Planeteers like you and I could declare our fascination with Pixar’s Emeryville studio and the people who make the magic happen.

Note: The usergroup does not have an icon yet, but I’ll try to get someone on that as soon as possible. What are some of your suggestions for an icon?

I think a picture of John Lasseter would be a good icon.

I agree!! Or one of all 5 directors, if it would fit. :smiley:

I think the icon should be Luxo, Jr. It only seems fair. Lasseter and the Trust have done great things for sure, but if we want to be representative of the entire studio and all involved then what better choice is there than Luxo?

Lol! :stuck_out_tongue: I was just about to say that. I agree, I mean I don’t really think anything representation Pixar better than Luxo Jr. He represents everyone not just a few directors and writers (Who I love)

I miss the usergroup icons. Anyways, this is a great idea for a usergroup, I’m glad to be a member.
