No wonder the quality of it is so good. (snigger) ![]()
Bill - Shame on you, Bill! Heheh – just
kidding. I love it too, actually. ![]()
Mitch - Oh yeah, and Weta Digital did a fantastic job of animating it. ![]()
Yeah, I can see why you guys like it. In fact, I like it
too! I just think it’s got more of a live-action feel to it. ![]()
I swear, the first time I saw that, I thought I transported to
Disneyland.
The Star Swordsman - My thoughts exactly, dude. It makes me smile everytime I view
it. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
Love" />
Me too. I do everytime I
see it. The first time I saw it though, I was almost crying.
You too? Man, I thought I was the only one. (snigger) ![]()
Oh no. Don’t worry about it. I cryed when I saw it the second time. but it always gets me everytime I see
it.
I like the Pixar logo because its simple, its cg and you can gte past it in a flash and put
what ever music you want over it. You can’t really do that with the new Disney logo as much as it is
wonderful.
It also makes you wonder. Will
they ever change the Pixar logo?
I sure
hope that they never do change the Pixar logo. It’s too original to wear a new coat… Heh.
Yeah, I doubt it. I mean, who could ever get rid of
Luxo?! ![]()
Who knows what kind of opening we’ll have - remember, Brad made The Incredibles the only
Pixar movie not to open with the traditional music - so we’ll see what he does here.
Dash – Very true. I actually like The
Inceridibles intro music, so if he did something like that agian, I’m sure we won’t be
dissapointed! ![]()
Well guys, I saw another TV spot last night and it had the new Disney logo. I’ll certainly
miss Pixar’s logo but at the same time, I’m very excited to be seeing the new CG one
Comments?
Well, not really. I am happy
that they are using the new one.
Ahh, very neat! ![]()
Still trying to get used to the idea of the new WETA logo going on the film (I still think it
should be done by Pixar, as much as I love WETA though). But as for the music, I think that Mr. Giacchino (who’s
scoring the film, and from what I’ve heard, it appears he’s hit another homerun) might come up with some new
music that could be used through both logos together, instead of having two seperate pieces of music.
Went to
the sneak preview last night, the Disney logo IS the usual Pixar version that has appeared on all the Pixar films
since Toy Story. The thing though is that at the end, I did find that the Pixar logo seemed to be changed ever so
slightly. Usually at the end, the logo fades out but the lamp is still on and clicks out, from what I saw (yes, I
stay through all the credits on every movie, especially Pixar ones- and this has a really great end title
design), it just faded out with no lamp left on. Maybe it might have been a bad cut on the print, so I’ll wait
till the DVD comes to find out.
