I have to honestly say I think this is the best video (trailer, clip, promo) of Wall-E…yet. I LOVE the revelations of AXIOM and EVE. All too cool. Thanks for digging it up, JV. ![]()
Thanks a LOT JV!!! That was really cool!
I was pleasantly surprised to see this in my YouTube Pixar feed this afternoon. Out of all the marketing for WALL-E, this piece that wasn’t really intended for the general public has made me the most excited.
Awesome !
Thanks you JV !
I really want to watch it…but I’m scared of spoilers. How much does it show of these characters? I dont mind seeing them moving about or whatever, but does it show how they’ll be first revealed in the film or something like that?
Must…fight the urge…to click… hehe
I just love the wall-e score in the background! I can tell it’s going to be a really great soundtrack! Heck that whole video is awesome! ![]()
All I can say is WOW! I thought I was excited to see this from the trailer. Now, I’m wishing it was June already.
You know, I was worried about the response that the general public might have to this movie with it’s minimal dialogue and all; however, the more I see of it, the more I think this movie is going to be a huge success and possibly even beat Nemo’s box office total. I have a feeling this is something that will have an appeal similar to that of E. T. which is something I haven’t felt about about a movie in a very long time.
I think I’m gonna resist the temptation to watch this. It sounds amazing, and I’m pleased that there’s been a generally very positive response, since I too was a little concerned, but it looks like Pixar have done it again! ![]()
lizardgirl and spikeshinizle - inside the clip:
-EVE
-AXIOM Spaceship
-Some random tidbit clips of Wall-E
-Some cool backgrounds and music
That’s about all. I’m not regretting watching it (yet…), but there isn’t all that much - it’s more of a monologue by Stanton. Do as you please, though… ![]()
It’s removal from YouTube hints that people from Pixar read these blogs and forums and are aware of what the fans see.
ahh, too bad I didn’t get to see it. ;-;
I didn’t get to see the clip!
Very disappointed, since I really needed something to cheer me up today. Someone commented on the Upcoming Pixar story that they found it on Google. I searched and failed. If anyone has a link that works could you PM me? Many thanks.
And hey, spikeshinizle, fancy meeting you here. Haven’t I seen you somewhere else online before ![]()
yay
this is going to be a beautiful film.
I’m not entirely sure what EVE and the AXIOM Spaceship are!
So, in all honesty, I think I’ll just keep myself unaware of what’s going on. Though I don’t exactly have a choice, now it’s been taken down. ![]()
EVE is WALL-E’s crush.
[spoil]EVE is the female robot WALL•E follows to the Axiom, which is a cruise ship resort for humanity that left hundreds of years ago.[/spoil] I probably didn’t need to use spoiler tags, but if certain members such as yourself prefer not to watch the Tradeshow promo, they wouldn’t want to accidentally read about it. ![]()
The promo doesn’t really spoil specific scenes. The majority of the clips are of test animation, and we’re introduced to 1 new character and shown new settings. It’s all truly fascinating! ![]()
~~=oP
I decided to bite the bullet and watch the footage, to anyone who hasn’t watched it yet for fear of spoilers, there’s nothing much in there that feels like a spoiler.
The video has, however, GOT ME SO PUMPED FOR THIS MOVIE!!! This little piece does a much better job at explaining the story than the teasers have so far. I have a feeling this is going to be Pixar’s biggest movie.
Oh and the music sounds amazing, Thomas Newman yes?
haha good spot man! Nintendo and Pixar, what more could a man want in life? haha
Hehe, so true ![]()
The video has gotten me pumped, too! I’ve been sending it to everyone that logs on MSN and telling them that they’ll be coming to watch it. This has made more of them excited about it than the official teaser did.
Andrew Stanton sure knows how to pick his settings, too. The two most overwhelmingly epic places to be - under the ocean and in space.
As for the score, I’m sure I read that Thomas Newman has returned as well.
