Newt Concept Art

I was slowly falling in love with Newt.

The concept art is such a tease! Hopefully Pixar will continue the movie at some point in the future or make a short film out of it. I really would love to see some of the art animated.

Even if this doesn’t become a feature film, maybe Pixar will use the concept art for some newt oriented short films! They could have an entirely different plot, and wouldn’t need to be to complex since it would only be a short. Plus, they have such a nice building block to start from!

Well, I’ve had this idea for a long time, that it’d be cool to write Newt myself based on what we know and, now, based on the concept art. It seemed like a really interesting and original (if done right) story.

Now I want someone to actually do that.

I’d like to see if Pixar had any parts of the screenplay written before the project was shelved. That would be an interesting read. Oh, and there’s some more of the concept in this article: slashfilm.com/pixars-newt-inside-out/

Ooh! Or maybe they could use the concept for a TV show or something. Or maybe Pixar could put this film into production someday in the future, long after Rio and similar films are mostly forgotten.

I really can’t see how newt influenced Inside Out. So many unanswered questions!
