Nick developing live action Fairly Oddparents movie

^ I forgot all about Drake Bell until I heard about this. Such a weird choice!

I thought this was cancelled too, but I guess not! Good for them, even though I never see it on. And I like SpongeBob better than this, even though I really did used to like this show. SpongeBob’s just so classic

So I saw a promotion for the Fairly Odd Parents movie. Drake Bell as Timmy Turner is not what I expected, nor is it what I like. I’m not sure if this is a good idea, but it’s too late now. We’ll see what the public thinks about it.

For the older audience, I’m not sure, but for the younger, they like anything.

I have to admit… I kind of want to see this

Unfortunately, that is why most of the bad shows stick around.

Lucky, a lot of kids hate Fanboy and Chum Chum. It’s only on regular Nick like once a week.

I defintely want to see this movie. It has sparked my curiosity.

Well, this has aired, and i saw it.

4/10

that is all

I’m going to watch this movie tommorrow.

I read there’s still gonna be new episodes after this. They just don’t know when to stop.

Just like Family Guy and Shrek, it will never die! EVER.

I saw it…the first half was okay, but it just got worse from there. I have to give them credit for sticking to the tone and pace of the cartoon, although it just makes it feel even more like it should’ve just been animated.

But Shreak is over…

I agree, and if the movie wasn’t bad enough. Like you said before, kids will just like anything that they see. I just hope they don’t turn the series into a francise like they did with Spongebob. It reminds me of what Dreamworks did with Shrek and what they’re doing with Madagascar.

Or is it?

That’s exactly what they want us to think, then one day, you turn on your TV and there are 50,000 commercials for Shrek 5, a Shrek cartoon, Shrek toys, Shrek video games, and even a Shrek theme park. Seriously, Shrek isn’t over until Dreamworks is done milking the ever living crud out of the franchise!

Now, back on topic, I saw this the day it came on, and the next day, and when I saw it the second time, I noticed some changes from when it originally aired the night before. [spoil]One scene that had Mr. Crocker and Hugh J. Magnete Jr. in the park was missing altogether, and the scene with Mr Crocker, and Hugh J. Magnete Jr. in Magnete’s lair was edited so you wouldn’t even notice that there was a scene missing. And the third thing that was changed was, when they were in the lair, it was edited so you hear the song “Lookin Like Magic” (which was supposed to end in the park scene), thus removing the hilarious sound effects of the vacuum trying to suck in Crocker, and Magnete complaining about Crocker stepping on his foot.[/spoil] I have looked all over the computer since I noticed this, and I seem to be the only one that paid attention. Oh, well…

^ I only saw it last night so I don’t know! But those scenes weren’t in it, so you’re right I’d think! It was so weird though. I don’t even know why I bothered watching it :open_mouth:

This was easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen Shark Tale!

Terrible acting, terrible concept, terrible movie. I saw ten seconds and I instantly turned it off.

Is it worth wasting 2 hours of my life?
