Sigh…I have a feeling this will be VERY degrading to the film, which was actually good.
If this is anything like the “Penguins” series, I’m going to be very upset.

I too agree with you Bryko all Dreamworks seems to be doing is squeezing all they can out of their films
Seriously?!! Then they won’t have time to make KFP2 any good. This will probably end up as my least favorite TV show. But I mean SERIOUSLY!, what’s it gonna be called? The Kung Fu Panda… Furious fives? But still
I didn’t really know the success that Penguins was having on the small screen, after thinking about it, it does seem logical that other Dreamworks movies would get the TV treatment. Still, I don’t think the best way to continue the story is to make cheap television shows, don’t get me wrong, the Penguins storylines are better than anything else on Nick, but the animation just makes me want to cry.
I would have be very pleased if it ha been a traditionally drawn version, preferably spearheaded by James Baxter. sigh It’ll come back one day.
Oh dear.
They finally go and do something right and what happens? They seep every penny from it by making a sequel AND a TV show?
This is why I’m a Pixar fan.
They never learn, do they?
Anything for a few extra bucks. Pathetic.

Not that the sequel was bad.
I actually enjoyed the Buzz Lightyear series, although it didn’t really affect the Toy Story movies at all, kind of like the video game shown in the beginning of Toy Story 2
Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? Never.
This is probably what I’ll probably be saying the rest of my life about Dreamworks.
I don’t really have an opinion on Penguins. 1. The film was kinda funny, but wasn’t that good. 2. The show isn’t all that good, but not horrible either.
But this, dang. Sounds awful. The thing I like about Disney these days is that they seem to have gotten over the “make a show about every semi-popular movie” phase they were in during the early to mid 2000’s. Just in time for Nick to get in it, I guess. There are good shows based off movies, like Jimmy Neutron and (Suposedly, I haven’t actually seen it but I’ve heard it’s good) The Clone Wars. Difference is, though, I’m pretty sure the shows were planned before the movie.
I read something about this a few months ago, so I already knew.
I’m on the fence about this, so I’ll withhold judgment until I see it.
Here we go again!
As Po would say, “ORDER UP!”
NO! NO NO!!!
I’ve seen the ‘penguins’ series. Total rape of hilarity!!! PLEASE do NOT let KFP succumb to the sme fate!!!
Kung Fu Panda is my favorite movie of 3D Dreamworks (and there is nothing amazing).
There was nothing happy with the idea of a sequel, then the series is something unbelievable.
(already shown that the Monsters vs. Aliens will also turn the tv series, and there will be more special (like Shrek The Halls) in 2010 from Panda and Shrek. Fear. Fear.)
