By the looks of it the person lost control, flew off the road at a high speed and hit a tree sideways splitting the car in half. How the motor fell out of the car I don’t know.
(Trying to pick up my jaw off of the floor after seeing the pictures) OMG that unreal there. Who ever was driving that car was going at least 50 mph over the speed limit for that to happen. Did any one survive?

lizardgirl, I know, I do drive myself and I know it is very dangerous to speed on the road. ANd it is always wise to look out for hazards on the road, but the result of the car is just something you don’t see everyday.
All I can say is … Ouch.

Great balls of flaming fire… I pity the pour souls who were involved in that horrific crash. I pity them even more for not having any sense to slow down for a couple of seconds…

Ya we don’t know the whole story, could have been avoiding a drunk driver or they may have been drunk while driving.
But it definitley looks like speed was a factor.
That is always why I look out for my speed while driving.
