NSA Files

So yeah, Violet’s cool and Syndrome rules and blah

blah blah (and I’m not one to disagree with all that), but I thought we could talk about the supers that usually

get overlooked…the supers kept on file by the National Supers Agency.

Little is known about each of

these supers, but it’s fun to imagine them in action. I’ve listed them all, excluding Mr. Incredible,

Elastigirl, and Frozone.

Apogee
Blazestone
Downburst
Dynaguy
Everseer
Gamma

Jack
Gazerbeam
Hypershock
Macroburst
Meta Man
The

Phylange
Plasmabolt
Psycwave
Splashdown
Stormicide
Stratogale
Thunderhead
Universal

Man

And let’s not forget to discuss the teams that certain supers formed.

Beta Force - Blazestone

and Universal Man
The Phantasmics - Everseer, Macroburst, Plasmabolt, and Psycwave
The Thrilling Three -

Gazerbeam, Apogee, and The Phylange

~~=oP

I always got a kick how the Thrilling Three disbanded . . . and then tried to

have one of the members replaces and such . . . incredible detail to story that was never used in the film!

…but could be very

useful in a prequel! Of course, I’d rather have a sequel.

~~=oP

You forgot a couple. When

Bob was in Syndrome’s secret lair (the one with the giant computer) two Supers were mentioned but not

shown.

Vectress
Tradewind

OMGosh! You’re right!

And not only them, but when I

went back and watched that scene, I noticed another super, Blitzerman.

Thanks for pointing that out,

Invisigirl!

~~=oP

Does anyone know what powers

Vectress, Tradewind, and Blitzerman have? I’m having a hard time looking when it comes

up.

Blitzerman - high-powered…
Tradewind - elemental control…
Vectress -

sub-sonic…

o_0 That’s the best I could make things out.

~~=oP

My guess is this.

Blitzerman has thunder and electrical powers and can run at

lighting speed. He can control lighting and electricity. I got this because the prefix “Blitz” in his

name (Blitzerman) means lightning in German.

Tradewind probably has the ability to control the

elements. I think this is self explanitory. (water, fire, wood, wind, etc)

Vectress is a little bit

harder. I checked out the internet and found that Vectress is slang for a woman who is scared of guys but wants a

relationship. I think that is her personality. The subsonic part means that she can fly fast, but not faster than

the speed of sound. My other hypothisis is she has telepathic powers according to her definition above.

In the movie, the people mentioned a super named Fironic. I hypothisise that he controls heat

and fire because his name sounds like fire. Anyone else have a guess?

My guess is that Fironic is a scientist of some sort. The suffix “onic” has

to do something with chemistry.

I’m not 100% certain, but I think the spelling might be “Vyronic,” as opposed to

“Fironic.” I would check using the subtitles, but my TI DVD seems to have run away from me. If

anybody else would check, I’d appreciate it.

It’s “Fironic” - although I thought that for a long time too DElf.

I believe that the

prefix “Fir-” would suggest a super that had fire powers. If they were a very egotistical super than

they may have worn a tall, flaming red hairdo that resembled a flame as part of their outfit - thus when the

woman saw Syndrome’s big bushy red top she immediately thought it was him.

At first when I heard that lady say “Is that Fironic?” I thought, "Are you kidding me?

Fironic? He has an “S” on his chest and is shooting an immobi-ray from his fingers. But he could be

fironic after he “accedentily” carelessly threw the truck behind him, causing a huge explosion.

Did anybody here listen to the supers’ recorded

interviews they had on the DVD? Some of them were pretty funny my fav being Thunderhead’s

yea i have seen it. its funny!

Thunderhead’s is fantastic, along with Universal

Man.

Hey guys, I am taking a guess on this, but I believe that

the guy who voiced Universal Man on the DVD also played the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Cars.

Just a therory.

I was listening to the NSA file audio recordings and I have to ask you guys. Does Psycwave sound a lot like

Sarah Vowell? I believe she does.

Hey TSS, you’re not alone on this one! I also think that’s the same guy who voiced

the Arnold car.

As for Psycwave, I played the audio clip from my DVD and it is SOOO Sarah! I told Dash to

listen to his DVD when he has the chance. OMG! ^o^

You know, I just noticed those voice clips on Sunday when i was watching some

extras. I felt so silly! I mean i’ve had it since Spring of 2005 and just now I notice that? Geez…
