Well, first my dad took me out to lunch at a Japanese restaurant. Here’s a picture of the green tea mochi ice cream dessert (I started to cut into the one on the right before I took the picture).

I had more dessert after dinner in the form of a birthday chocolate mousse cheesecake (I forgot to take a picture of that one). I didn’t get any presents yesterday, but I compensated by treating myself to some new music from the iTunes store. It’s such a great feeling when you find music you’ve never heard before that instantly becomes your new favorite recording. This time it was piano music by Martha Argerich. Finally, in the evening, I had a lovely chat with Rachel. Today however, I have to go back to editing the commentaries so I can’t listen to music! Oh well, I’ll finish the editing eventually.

That sounds like fun, qngnxamy (or would you rather be called Peter…?)
The cut into the mochi actually makes it look like a wink! And I know what you mean about the music. Happy belated b-day, btw!

Glad you enjoyed your birthday, Peter! That mochi ice-cream was served very nicely. I have never seen that dessert before so it’s cool that you showed us a photo. =)
