Wait, so you know happens now? No fair! Did the person tell you if Lotso was the villian or not?
I want to know! Can you PM me the ending?
Im officialy not looking at this form any more cause I dont wana spoil the sequle weve been waitig 10 years for.
Hmm…alright, but you absolutely cannot publicly post it.
Buzz&Woodyforever: Lotso is a lot more interesting and complex of a character than he seems at first from the trailer. That’s all I’ll say.
I promise with my love for Pixar i will not Publicly post it ANYWHERE!

Hmm… Interesting… I wonder…
Edit:Also, [spoil]Bonnie Hunt as Purple haired Doll and Lou Romano and Elissa Knight as Peter and Lil, two dolls at Sunnyside.[/spoil]
Personally, I kind of think it sucks that the ending is out there. That’s why I don’t like the idea of that Vegas showing coming up. Whatever though, I’ll do my best to avoid it all.
Oh, I watched it again and noticed that that’s Andy’s room, but there are no posters or anything on the shelves…
How can we explain it?
Andy puts them in a trash bag and the truck is coming to pick them, but Woody jumps through the window with the scissors to open the trash bag… So they get saved and get back to Andy’s room, where he puts them in a box for donation?I don’t know
check out earlier in this forum, I was discussing this earlier. I would guess the part where he’s putting them in the box is at the end, when he eventually gets the toys back and decides to put them up in the attic and finish the job. I think that by this time
Andy’s been in college a lot longer.
Also, I’ll be restraining myselffrom this forum, I don’t wanna see anything too spoilerish

I sure am
Anyways, I think it’s amazing how the full ending of the film has already been leaked. I really hope all of the toys end up finding a good home.
Holy macaroni! After seeing it for the first time yesterday, I realize… this is so much better than the previous trailer (for obvious reasons, it reveals more).
Here are some notes I wrote upon rewatching the trailer (no spoilers if you’ve seen it already):
0:16 Really, Pixar? Like you need to keep reminding audiences of your previous movies? At least the titles were included into the scenes quite naturally.
00:35 Is that Red the fire truck in the background? And what’s with the cane? I suppose Lots’-o-Huggin’-Bear is suppose to be like a kid-friendly version of that character from Starsky & Hutch. A very enigmatic character, indeed.
00:40 The doll looks like the baby from Tin Toy.
00:41 And the octopus reminds me of the one in Harrhausens in Monsters Inc.
00:43 The insect reminds me of one of Sid’s toys for some reason. Maybe it’s deja vu.
00:45 EPIC FAIL, haha!
0:48 Heh, iMac and Google Maps. Nice. And isn’t that a Totoro doll in the background?
1:08 OMG, retro music! And suitably cheesy, too!
1:18 Did Barbie just swear? Can anyone explain to me what she just said?
1:25 Is that an Ouija board?
1:56 I love this part. Such tear-jerking music.
2:05 Another nightmare sequence?
2:13 “They’ll never make it!” That line made me laugh for some reason. Plus, explosions!
2:15 Dun, dun, dundun, dun, dun, dundun!
2:18 What’s with the monkeys?
2:21 Ahahahahaha!
Overall, it’s the usual Pixar trailer. Giving glimpses of particularly poignant moments, keeping the plot and characters relatively cryptic, and having a head-scratching montage at the end.
I’m excited to find out more about Huggy, he sounds like a Pete Docter sorta character, but we’ll find out soon enough. And the Western setting, what’s up with that? Ah, well, that’s the thing about their trailers. Instead of providing answers, they just stir up more questions instead.
Just thought I’d throw this out there, Apple has posted a new promo pic of Toy Story 3. Nothing too new, but the posing is a little different.
Not sure if anyone saw yet, but Toy Story 3’s page on Disney.go.com got ANOTHER change! The sunnyside characters are now featured on pages of 3!
just a bit confused though…on the first page of SunnySide characters w/ Lotso, Ken, and Twitch…the background looks like the background from the old trailer, (lots of Brown, very inviting etc) before the location was changed to green. Just an interesting observation…
DPA113: It’s all the same daycare, just a lot of playing with lighting, I guess. In the concept art from Disney, there’s a piece showing [spoil]the transition of the lighting from the turquoise colors in the trailer to a more golden tone for the scene with Woody against Buzz and the gang.[/spoil] My guess is that they changed it A. because it was just some preliminary stuff for the trailer or B. to add more contrast between those two scenes. Plus, we only see a part of the daycare in the trailer and not the one in the background of the site, so maybe the other part uses some different colors.
By the way, can anyone figure out the layout of the daycare?
EDIT: Here’s the pic of the lighting study I was talking about.

Yeah, also take a look at the videos section. They added trivia! I’m assuming this was played during the intermission for the double feature. If it is then thank you Pixar because I didn’t get this for my intermission back in October.
I like it, it’s cute hearing the characters talk in the videos when answering the questions. I laughed at Rex with the Airline question. XD
I’m extermely interested to find out what happens to potato head.
I just noticed something in the trailer that I never really picked up on before somehow…[spoil]the “They just loves new toys, now don’t they?” scene is the same as the one where Hamm yells “Incoming!”. What’s interesting is that Jessie is not there in the second shot. I wonder why.[/spoil]

Hmm, now that you mention it… [spoil] Woody wasn’t there either. Maybe something happened to them. I don’t know…maybe Buzz caught them (?),since Buzz doesn’t seem to have a clear head at the daycare by the time it gets dark. So, maybe Lotso tricked him. o_O[/spoil].
KarmaWolf: I think I may have figured something out. [spoil]In that display case at Disney that came up online a few days ago, there was a piece of art in which Woody helps Jessie escape from one of the daycare crate things at night. So maybe Woody somehow gets separated/runs off from the group, and then Jessie does something in that scene to be imprisoned by the daycare toys but Woody later saves her.[/spoil]
Now that you mention it Bryko614, it makes sense.
I saw that picture as well, but I thought it would probably fit into the scene [spoil]where Mr.Potato Head explains what happened to him. You see all the toys in the little crates, except Jessie who I assume is being blocked from view by Mr. Potato Head. I figured that a little bit after that scene Woody gets Jessie to help him and has the other toys stay behind, then the two go through that door in the background to investigate.[/spoil]
I think I’m the first person to notice this. One of the battery brands in the TS3 trailer also appears in TS1 as the batteries in the baby monitor.
