Your theory on Andy and Woody at the end makes a lot of sense. But you said you think he puts them away in a box after the entire movie. But in one scene in the newer trailer they fall out of the same box and is greeted by the day care toys. Now you bring up a good point on Andy and his room being empty, so maybe he finds them there. He didn’t know I think that his toys were in the box, unless his mom tolled him. I guess its possible Andy decides maybe its best every one stays at the day care after all, so the kids can play with him. While Andy takes Woody. Wow a heart breaking ending indeed if that does happen. However, a happy ending for Woody cuz he gets to be with Andy in the end. I have a feeling you’ll be right about Andy’s speech and the ending.
I hope Andy takes Buzz as well i’d hate to see Woody and Buzz seperated after what has happened in the series (espesh the first one), but Andy taking Woody would probably be better for the series as it’s more powerful, with them (Buzz, Jessie etc) being seperated from Woody.
Why can’t it be released now
I believe the box they fall out of att the daycare is different. For sure, it’s the one marked sunnyside, the one Molly’s carrying in this clip:- YouTube
I doubt they come to Andy in the same box again, it would’ve been thrown away by daycare staff I’m sure…
Hey guys, this isn’t an official trailer, but I thought I’d post this here instead of making a topic for it.

Its just me messing around with toy story 3 footage to make my own trailer of sorts. Its really short, but I like it.
Nice job. I like how you used the old Disney logo instead of the new one.
I didn’t know gmcubed was your YouTube account. That’s where I sometimes watched those Toy Story Treats.
Yeah, I also watched some Toy Story Treats on gmcubed.
Does anyone know what the song is called that starts when Lotso says: “You got a play date with destiny” ??
Does anyone know what the song is called that starts when Lotso says: “You got a play date with destiny” ??
I was wondering that too. It’s some trailer stock music, because the same song is in the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs trailer.
I’m not sure if anyone’s ever noticed, but there are a large variety of portions to the trailer(s) that I wonder about:
-
The first actual trailer released (the one where Hamm says “Ah yes. Return of the astronut!”) Buzz’ mouth doesn’t move when he says “To infinity and beyond!”. That leads me to believe that the dialogue is said during another part of the movie (Pixar has a history of doing this, such as in the original Toy Story trailer when the army men says “A good soldier never leaves a man behind!” when Buzz is knocked out of the window). This also happens during other instances in all of the trailers, such as Lotso talking when the doll opens the door for Andy’s toys (and, for example, when it shows Stretch’s mouth moving while it’s clear that Ken is talking).
-
In the short snippet where Woody falls from the building, his hat and the scissors disappear from one scene to the next (and they didn’t fall since they aren’t on the ground). I think that these might be different scenes.
-
For some reason I believe that Woody and the gang end up in someone’s house (that isn’t Andy). I think this because in that first trailer where Rex screams “Should we be hysterical?!” all of the toys are in a garage of some sort… you can see a vehicle of some sort and a lawn mower behind the characters as the camera shifts point of views. Perhaps the toys break out and, after the garbage truck/incinerator* scene, end up in someone’s house? Maybe that’s why Woody is on the computer trying to get a map of the “tri-county area”… who knows?
*I’m going based on information I’ve read about the film.
Hmm… what do you guys think? Am I looking into things too much? I really do think I might have something with the garage thing though.

Those are actually all pretty good theories. I also think you might something with the garage thing.

I actually think that it is Andy’s garage and that they’re standing outside his mom’s van. My guess is that clip in particular takes place sometime after Woody cuts his friends out of the garbage bag, and that Buzz and the others are contemplating getting in the box to Sunnyside in the back of the van (as seen in one of the images that was released):
Good point Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (and welcome ;D).
They probably just put different dialog everywhere to help you understand the plot of the movie as you watch the trailer.
The scene with Woody falling seems to be the extended scene for the sneak peek, then when his pull string gets caught on something that leads to the M.I reference, it seems to be outside the daycare.
I don’t know about them ending up at someone else’s house, but I have a feeling that the scene with them in a garage is most likely Andy’s because the car (or at least what we saw of it), looks like ti’s the same one in the new trailer that Ms.Davis drives.
Thanks for the welcome!
I think you’re right about it being Andy’s mom’s van; I just noticed the toys weren’t beat up (Hamm, for example, didn’t have blue stains on his ear).

Yeah that voice thing happens a lot in all trailers…
And when Woody falls, the first part is out Andy’s window. In the clip where Andy packs away the toys, you can see those same scissors near the window, which are the ones by Woody as he’s falling. The second part is the daycare, you can tell from those designs behind Woody are the same seen as the van drives up to the daycare.
And I also think they go to another house, for that garage scene as well as the “Just a Dinosaur” scene. They appear to be in a house, and why would the other toys be there if it’s in Andy’s? ALSO, go to the website, and click on Buttercups’ character thing. The background changes to a new house, not the dacare, which makes me think they end up there sometime to meet Buttercup, which is probably the same house.
It was going to happen eventually, but a detailed summary of the ending of the movie was leaked to me. I’m not going to say anything about the actual details, other than that it sounds extremely powerful and there will be multiple moments where people will be tearing up a bit. Also, there’s a nice little twist at the end. It’s small, but it really surprised me and I really like the idea of it. So, if you had any doubts about it beforehand, be prepared for a very, very good ending.

How on earth do you manage to find these things?
I would love to interrogate the living day lights out of you for all the juicy details, but I want to be surprised with the ending.
I’m sure that the ending will leave me in plenty of tears, I just hope that [spoil] all the toys stay together, including Woody.[/spoil]
Whatever the ending’s going to be, I think I’ll probably wait until it comes out to see it. We’ve gotten enough stuff from the film leaked already.
Hey everyone! I’m watching the second trailer right now and I noticed that when Andy’s picking up the toys to put on the trash bag, he’s wearing a blue regular shirt. And then it changes and he’s putting them in a box. Now he’s wearing a polo shirt and he’s not in his room, because of the wallpaper and there’s nothing on the shelves… I don’t know… Perhaps in Molly’s room?
Oh, I watched it again and noticed that that’s Andy’s room, but there are no posters or anything on the shelves…
How can we explain it?
Andy puts them in a trash bag and the truck is coming to pick them, but Woody jumps through the window with the scissors to open the trash bag… So they get saved and get back to Andy’s room, where he puts them in a box for donation?
I don’t know
KarmaWolf: I went out of my way to contact a person who had seen a pre-screening and ask about it. Yes, I’m that desperate.
