Greatest. Clip. Ever.
It does show a lot of new footage. I can’t hardly wait. But I think if they continue with these featurettes, they’ll spoil the whole film.

That new feauterette is awesome! I hope the dvd/blu ray is stocked full of things like in the studio recording, I love seeing that.
Yup, the final script has him as six.
Here’s the clip that was aired on Disney Channel, extended and in better quality!

Ken and Barbie are so funny. Twitch’s voice isn’t what I expected though.
Okay, I’m watching the National Movie Awards 2010 and there’s about to be a ‘world exclusive’ clip of Toy Story 3! I’ve paused it…Should I watch it, or shouldn’t I? Jonathan Ross is currently talking about how much he loves it, reminds him of when he was younger, etc. When they announced Jonathan Ross’ name, I really thought they were gonna say John Lasseter! Unfortunately not.
I’m gonna watch it now. Seeing as I haven’t seen or heard anything about Toy Story 3’s plot or new characters at all, due to avoiding spoilers like the plague, this is pretty exciting.
…
Okay, shut up Jonathan Ross. Blabber blabber blabber. ‘Toy Story 2 managed to surpass Toy Story’s greatness’, now he’s talking about Jessie’s song…
Time for the preview! The people in the audience are actually watching it in 3D. They’ve all put on their glasses, and Ross has said that they look like a group of Mr. Potato Heads.
[spoil]The clip starts with the toys checking out ways of escaping the daycare. They try the doors (much like when in Sid’s room in the original) but they’re locked. There’s a window above one of the doors that’s open, so Buzz, through a series of amazing jumps and a series of acrobatics (once again, much like he does in the original when he’s proving that he can fly) he lands on the open window, clasping a rope in order to be able to pull up the other toys to escape.
Before he does so, Buzz turns to the other side of the window and sees two of the daycare toys walking along and talking menacingly, saying something along the lines of, ‘I hope they had a good playtime’. (Insert evil chuckle here.) Buzz turns to the left and sees Ken and Barbie saying ‘I love you’ to each other, each of them saying alternate words and giggling.[/spoil]
And that’s it! A world exclusive apparently, though as I haven’t read any of the other spoilers here I wouldn’t know whether anyone else has mentioned this clip before. I know this isn’t an official teaser or trailer, but it didn’t seem worth posting a new thread just for this.
Oh, and Up just lost to the most recent Harry Potter film for the Family movies award. Rubbish!
lol, that extended ending of the clip with dialogue between barbie and Ken was hilarious.
lizardgirl: Not so world exclusive anymore…the link I posted above is the same clip.
But, Up losing to Harry Potter is just terrible.
Bryko- Ah, I didn’t know who you were referring to when you mentioned Twitch (I REALLY don’t know anything about Toy Story 3!) but that makes sense. Ah well. For once in my life, as someone who lives somewhere where we get nothing, absolutely and utterly nothing in terms of upcoming Pixar films, I felt special.
I haven’t seen a dissapointing TS3 clip yet! I’m loving the visual details as well, like the drippy finish on the chair.
The action sequence is also amazing, heavily inspired from Buzz’s escape from Al’s Toy Barn (which is good). It also appears to be turning into somewhat of a spy movie as well, having to avoid Lotso’s henchmen. Barbie and Ken are also perfect.
LOL@ the extended clip. That whole scene between Barbie and Ken was cute and I love the look on Buzz’s face when he witnessed it. He looked disgusted. XD
It’s also nice to finally hear some new characters. Even though I heard that he was going to have a voice, I never really gave it much thought that Twitch would talk. I don’t know why, I guess to me he looks like the type that might not talk.
Great clip! So do we know for sure then that it’s Jeff Garlin voicing Twitch? It sounds like him, but some people on the Pixar Wiki have stopped thinking that he does the voice cause they assumed that it wasn’t the type of character that would have a voice. It’s not what I would have imagined for Twitch either. I would have expected more of a creepy, alien/insect like voice.
Flik-E: Lee Unkrich confirmed that John Cygnan voices Twitch. I think he voiced the Shark in Toy Story.
Okay, thanks. I think Mr. Shark was voiced by Jack Angel, who is voicing Chunk.
Ah, my bad. John Cygan is a voice actor, he worked on Up, WALL-E, and Cars as well.
…
Jack Angel was indeed the Sharks voice
I really didn’t know what to expect for Twitch, but I think his voice suites him well. Kind of menacing, like a mobster or something.
I love Buzz’s expression as he listens to Ken and Barbie talk to each other.
[spoil]Ken: “You see what I mean, it changes every time!”
Barbie: “You are so smart!”[/spoil]
That’s probably going to be my favorite Ken line now.
I absolutely love how in the new featurette we get to see video interviews from both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as well as Blake Clark and Don Rickles! And the new featurette doesn’t really spoil anything, just piqued our curiousity for the film even more, can’t wait!
Also, [spoil]I love how in the new extended clip we get to see several more views of Sunnyside Daycare, which appears to be an office complex of sorts. And also from the trailer, Slinky Dog manning the controls for the security cameras.[/spoil]. I still have yet to open my new Art of Toy Story 3 book, but I’m sure it’s chock full of this stuff.
