You know that target ad posted a page back? well on that site they have quick animation on the pages I thought was kind of interesting. some of them involve the intermission stuff from the double feature. the Woody and Jessie dancing bit for example.
These are basically the Toy Story treats for this movie. Cut down quite a bit though.
Woody’s ankle looks like it’s about to snap in that picture.
Anyway, great to see the escape clip. It’s been chopped into so many pieces for the trailers that it’s nice to see it in full. Plus, the score is present, and it sounds lovely!
I’m not sure how important this is, but did anyone notice how quickly Rex got his tail back on in the Buzz Flies clip? I mean @ 0:19 he’s like this:
and then immediately at 0:40 seconds he got his tail back on,
without any explanation or reference to how he got repaired. I don’t know what this means, maybe the clip that we saw was actually a simplified version of a longer clip, much like the Toys Get Thrown Out clip in December.
And I guess another thing is that it shows that his tail does come off like Thinkway’s Rex.
Except I think that the real Rex’s tail isn’t supposed to be detachable.
I would assume it would be detachable regardless of electronics. Rex is huge. even the non TSC Rex has a detachable tail. they do it to save space. they might not intend for him to be played with that way, but I definitely think the toy manufacturer in this universe would have done the same thing for the same reason.
I would have just thought it was from being roughhoused by the kids, but seeing any kind of in-film similarities like that is surprising.
Don Rickles was just on Letterman promoting TS3, they showed a new clip! it picked up after the line “you would not believe, what Ive been through tonight.”

ragarding the rexs tail thing, in the official movie magazine the character description rex does say his tail is detachable, and also that potato head clip sounds cool, wish i’d seen it.
Robbo.: It was posted a couple pages back, sorry. Although I’d like to add that I saw it on actual TV for the first time a few days ago, and it got me really excited.
Kyle: I really wanna see that clip. I tried to find the episode online, but no luck. The scene in the junior novel is really funny, so I can’t wait to see how it plays out.

It’s about 2 minutes in and over all it’s a nice interview with Don. 
I love Mrs. Potato Head’s reaction (it’s cute. <3), but I also love how Buzz was trying to protect Jessie. Woody’s facial expression in this was hilarious. XD

Here’s yet another new TV spot type thing. It shows us a lot more of Buttercup, Trixie, and Pricklepants.
Ha! I think Mr. Pricklepants and Buttercup are going to be my new favorite characters.
