Official Teaser/Trailer Discussion

Oh. I’m sorry! I hadn’t seen them before so I didn’t know.

Maybe babies are an exception sometimes since they’re too little to understand anything. We at least know that animals are cause of Woody talking to Buster, and he understands Woody perfectly. With Sid it wasn’t something they would normally do but Woody had to do something to get him away from Buzz.

Don’t worry about it. It’s fine.

Actually, I guess they could fit together, because that scene where Molly sees the toys in the reer-view window.

Again, in this case I was talking about how they simply hid away from him.

What toy wouldn’t hide from someone like Sid?

Just saw the latest Toy Story 3 clip, thanks TylerHasslet! I think this film is going to make me hate kids (even more so), hahaha. Actually,[spoil] I found this clip to be extremely sad as the toys seemed so excited to be finally played with and then we get to see them destroyed. These kids even make Sid look like a fluffy bunny.[/spoil]

I also read somewhere that these scenes were based directly from how real children at a daycare handled Toy Story toys that were given to them.

BTW Here’s another shot at the Tin Toy reference.

I thought I’d post a comparison shot from the short while we’re at it:

The clock seems to be the only one that looks different.

Can’t see the Fancast video. It just says “loading” for ever. Can it be seen outside the United States?

Yeah, but things like the Fire Hydrant, the Tea Kettle, Elephant, Sheep/Helicopter thing, Aeroplane, dangle Giraffe, and Robot are pretty much dead on. Thanks for the comparison shot!

I’m going to see if I can post this clip on youtube. How did you find this video, TylerHasslet?

That clip is actually kinda terrifying. :open_mouth: I know little kids abuse toys, but when it’s characters you’ve grown up with, it’s awful to watch. [spoil]Especially that kid trying to ride Rex, Jessie getting her yarn hair covered in paint (at least it’s water soluble, being in a day-care…), and Buzz getting smashed into pegs.[/spoil]

The Tin Toy reference was cute though.

I have comcast internet and use the site www.fancast.com and it showed a link to new Toy Story 3 stuff.

With firefox, one could download and save it straight in the tool bar.

OK, I’m currently using a video capture software to copy and save the video. Should be on youtube in a couple of minutes.

OK, so I have the video on youtube now. It’s in near- crud quality though, due to the lousy screen capture recording that I have, so sorry in advance but don’t blame me. Guess we’ll have to wait until next week wednesday or so until we get the HD version.

Awesome, thanks TylerHaslett!

I just uploaded the vids on my youtube channel right now.

Here’s The Making Of Day & Night

Here’s an updated version of the Rough Play clip

I just finished uploading it also: [url]- YouTube

Thanks for posting it in You Tube! I wasn’t able to see it in Fancast.

It was a great clip. i has so many details…

I just asked Lee Unkrich on twitter and he confirmed that a toy version of Flik does not appear at Sunnyside.

Well whatever that toy is it sure seemed to look like Flik. It could probably just be some toy they made up that’s not even related to A Bug’s Life.

It looks like a blue bunny, thats whay I think it is anyway. Has bunny ears, a tail, etc. Like a blue Alec. And he’s a hoppin toy. Either or, I cant WAIT to sit in theater looking at ALL of the cool little toys like that. The amount of work that went into the movie looks amazing.

Anyone else find Slink’s default pose to be kinda odd? he goes completely limp, like a rag doll, instead of his rigid straight legged stance like we see in the first movie’s opening.
