You’re very welcome.
On the regular trailer, I actually cried when they threw Jessie and that one ugly kid tried to eat Buzz.
Yeah, I think a lot of the audience is going to be watching that whole scene with a “D8” face on.
I cringe every time Woody, Jessie, or Buzz gets damaged, so this movie will definitley pull my emotional side out.
Within a nutshell: Excellent find! I don’t have sound at the moment but [spoil]Bonnie[/spoil] seems like a very appealing character.
IncredigirlVirginia: My sister laughed when Jessie was thrown against the wall when she saw the trailer.
Aw Does she not like Jessie?? I love her so much…
Well, I think the whole caos is intended to be funny.
Not for a person that tries very hard to take good care of their toys it isn’t!
My toys are my friends
Well, a thing isn’t funny just if you make it too. Very often, things that can feel like suffering in the real world are portrayed in cinema to be funny (take black comedy as an example).
I’m sure this is one of this instances and you’ll see it in the audience’s reactions. They will laugh a lot, I’m sure. They always laugh when they see this in the trailer.
I think the music helps set the tone. In the trailers they have upbeat, goofy music playing during the scene, but in the film it’s terrifying music which helps say that the toys are being really tortured.
Yes, but I’m sure the audiences will still find this funny because, deep inside, we all know nothing REALLY bad will happen to the toys in the scene.
And I think the music in facts adds to the comedic side. I think it’s overly dramatic in purpose. It’s a parody of a torture scene, so the music also mocks that (remember the musical cues during Sid’s evil deeds ).
So it’s a painful scene… but parody-wise. It’s a masterful use of the Thanatos Drive.
New TV spot. This is my favorite one yet, the tone of it is so exciting.
I agree. It’s really exciting. It’s a shame it’s not in good quality
Man, that trailer looked great dispite the quality.
Spoted a new scene, Woody and the phone.
I looking forward to those scenes of Woody and that girls toys
thats the only teaser i keep seeing on tv, like it

Well, they ran into the same problem during the first movie; they thought the characters would become too attached to Buzz and Woody, so they deleted some torture scenes. Still, I’m glad they didn’t overdo it, although I still fell bad for Jessie.

Yeah, that’s the first Toy Story commercial I’ve seen so far. Besides the Mastercard one.
Delete.
