The last scene where we see Mr. [spoil]Cucumber [/spoil]Head could be a reference to the 1960’s Cooky the Cucumber. She and Katie the Carrot used to be part of the Mr./Mrs. Vegetable series back in 1967.
This was before they decided to make the vegetable the entire body and not just the head (hence the name).
There are HD versions up prettymuch anywhere you look, the toy story site, Apple, etc.
Anyway, how about some plot theory? Hope your ready for a rambling novel…
will probably have to fix spelling errors galore later.
[spoil]After we see the toys almost get trash compacted or thrown in a dump, Andy realises the toys have been thrown out, and he and his mom go at it arguing. he’s sick of mom acting like a mom, always getting on him about stuff and other misunderstandings. Andy only has a few days left, he digs through all his stuff he had packed away for college and Woody’s nowhere to be seen.
meanwhile Andy rescues the toys from being destroyed. they somehow find their way back, but decide going into storage isn’t much better of an option than getting thrown out. they’ll still be unhappy either way, right? so they decide to hop into the sunny side donation box.
The toys get a warm welcome at the daycare by the other toys. Woody had a bad feeling about it all, he knows how kids can be with toys. Lotso convinces Buzz this is what’s best for everyone. Woody disagrees, and wants to get everyone out;
there will probably be a dialogue exchange that goes like.
-Woody “this is our chance to be happy”
-Buzz “No woody, we had our time. its Andy’s turn”
Buzz eventually realises that while Andy might not want to play with toys anymore, they cant stay at sunnyside either. They need to break out of there.
They try some plan, but fail.
Soon they realise it was sabotaged by Lotso (or someone)
Lotso cant have this. They need new toys because the longer the new ones stay, the less abuse the older toys have to put up with. So Lotso gets one of his henchmen (maybe ken, because he wants to prove to Barbie he’s just as manly as more masculine toys) to reprogram Buzz to do their evil bidding again, against his will.
Barbie sees Ken for the shallow guy he really is and breaks up with him.
She joins team Andy as they reset him back to being good, but of course the catch is hes delusional again, and speaks Spanish. He’s still helpful. they just have to be creative to get him to do what they want.
gasp for air not done yet.
The Sunnyside gang sets out to punish the toys every chance they get.
Team Andy comes to realise if anyone deserves to reunite with Andy its Woody. He chose him after all. They start to accept their fate, but try to come up with a plan to get Woody back to Andy at least.
Woody makes it back before Andy leaves for college.
Mom and Andy patch things up. Probably talk about how hard it is seeing him move out. surprises him by telling him she got the toys back.
They go into storage, in Andy’s attic. Fade to black, hold for a few seconds. you hear some kids in the background, you realise we’re in a new house, you what could be a younger Andy (about 4 years old) and maybe a sibling. we then realise these are Andy’s kids. you never see them though, only the toys reaction to realising their about to start a new life, while still remaining “Andy’s toys” in a way.
sprinkle in a bunch of fantasy/dream sequences, and a new Randy Newman song and there’s toy story 3 as I see it for now.

Well, I just watched it…I’m in amazement. Seems I was right about Mrs. Potato Head’s eye Well, here are my thoughts:
Apparently, like I said, there’s the bad group of toys being Ken, the bug, robot, octopus, and Lotso as the leader. They seem to manipulate Buzz, have Jessie and Mrs. Potato Head (although the others are visible in the foreground). Also, interesting to see the clip of Andy packing them in the box, with different clothes. Does that mean he gets them back later, decides to put them in the attic, and brings Woody to college? Because I’m almost crying thinking about that.
And Ken was, funny, I love the way he walks lol. Notice him in the tank top behind Lots during the “You’ve got a playdate with destiny” scene? Wierd…
[spoil]I really don’t think that Ken will be totally “evil” in this film. He’ll definitely have a face-heel turn/change of heart moment somewhere in the film. Besides, Mattel would have have a fit if Ken was a permanent bad guy.[/spoil]
[spoil]My guess is they didn’t, I bet Bo, RC, Wheezy, and Lenny will try and go after the toys too, similar to what Buzz and the gang did for Woody[/spoil]
