I found this list of top 50 CGI films, and I must disgree with a lot of it:
Why is Shrek The Third at number 3, ahead of the original Shrek? It was awful!
Why is Toy Story only number 17…behind Cars?
Why was the likes of Happily N’Ever After, Shark Tale, Chicken Little, Open Season, Veggie Tales and Hoodwinked even on there?

I’m pretty sure the list is in order of domestic gross. Otherwise it would be an atrocity xD

Yeah, its only the top grossing animated films list. If it wasn’t, I probably would of been disgusted by the fact that they gave Shrek the Third a better rating then Toy Story.

    You mean the negatively reviewed Star Wars Prequel?
    Are they trying to go for the ‘family friendly’ CG movies, maybe just ranking what they might have the license to and/or not being critics at all?

    Ihave nothing against the movie but I have heard bad stuff.
    Well, it is a while until you get to the Pixar films, but that actually sounds good since it’s a countDOWN.
    A bunch of stuff higher than Toy Story.
    Cars up above Bug’s Life, Toy Story, Ratatouile & WALL-E…
    Wait, TS2 is higher than Cars. Alright.

“Disappointing Antz”?
Antz is one of DW’s best films imo.

To be fair, with the exception of Shrek The Third and Madagascar 2, the top 20 isn’t that bad. It’s just in the wrong order :slight_smile:

ANYWAY there’s ALWAYS lists I disagree with… but I’m sorta nice enough to not say anything about them. I said sorta.

How silly. They posted an image of Open Season 2 for the first film. Meh, don’t care. Not like that movie is anything special… I mean the Dutch dub included at least three instances of unneeded profanity, I mean, what?

But unbelievable how they managed to put Shrek 2, of all things, above Up, Monster’s Inc., and almost everything else that’s actually awesome? Dude, what! AND WHERE’S HTTYD? …how old is this list?

Guys, I think this list is just the top grossing animated films of all time. This list must be old because I think TS3 outgrossed Shrek 2 for the highest grossing animated movie.
