As some of you may recall(really just TDIT and little chef), I have a friend named Krystin who is staying with us. She’s legally Retarded, and her dad didn’t want her b/c his wife was mean to her and her sister. She’s marrying her boyfriend, Andy, who’s just as “special” as she is, if not more so. Well, any way, the other night she came home with very high sugar. She’s Diabetic and she eats at Andy’s parents’ house because our food stamps got cut and we can’t afford our own food. We called the ambulance because she was screaming and having back pain, and she went to the hospital. She’s fine now, but I’m very worried for her health.
Oh no! Thank God she’s ok, even if just for now.
Yeah, due to her being slow she forgets to watch her sugar, and she’s 20, so no one helps her.
Oh dear. 
Send my regards to her, I’ll be praying for her health.

Oh my goodness, I hope she gets better soon! She’ll definitely be in my thoughts and prayers, Virginia, and I hope everything gets straightened around.

Is there any way you could perhaps have … (if I am getting this wrong sorry)… Insulin at home incase she comes back like it again? I thought that’s what helps with diabetes?

We barely have money for food, so we can’t really purchase any medications for my friend. Thanks, you guys!! She feels better, and I hope it stays that way.

The sad part is, it’s her fault for miscalculating how much sugar she can have. She eats at Andy’s parents’ house, so we can’t help.
