Oliver and Company

They’re releasing a 20th Anniversary Edition on February 3rd, 2009 I believe. I’m pretty excited. I used to love that movie. ^_^Anyone else remember it?

Aww, yeah. Wow, this really takes me back… All these old Disney films re-releasing just reminds me that I should watch them all again! I haven’t seen this movie and others in such a long time! :open_mouth:

Cool! That’s my favorite disney classic! :stuck_out_tongue: I probably won’t buy it though, since I have the video.

Awwww…! <3 I love that movie! I remember thinking when I was little that the beginning was sooo sad. Poor little Oliver!

I especially like the little chihuauha that Cheech Marin voices. :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I don’t remember much from that movie - it’s been a looong time since I’ve last seen it. But I remember liking it a lot. I think I still have the VHS, too!

Haha. Yeah I had forgotten all about it too. But then a few months ago I found our old VHS player and started watching some of my old tapes. =D It’s such a cute movie.

Yay!! x) I love it. 'Twas one of my most favorite films growing up.

I thought there had to be a reason for the sudden plushies I saw …

Now all I need is Hunchback of Notre Dame on DVD and I’ll be happy. =)

Yea! I love that movie!
Treasure Planet= An outer space version of Treasure Island
Oliver and Company= An animalized version of Oliver Twist

I loved that little chihuahua…what’s his name again?

This makes me hungry for more Disney Classics…

Tito’s the chihuahua. They’ve got a plushie out of him, Oliver, Dodger, and Georgette. I regret not buying the one of Oliver - he’s so cute!! x)

Sorry about that. I just can’t get over it. But I’m glad I resisted.

=O They’ve released plushies? I’m a sucker for plushies. Haha.

First off, I loved Oliver and Company. I loved the music and Dodger.

Second, welcome back to Pixar planet Sammeh.

I loved that film! A really good Disney classic, though I do remember being slightly frightened by it at times…The bad guy really was horrible. I think his name was Sykes? Something like that. And Oliver is so sweet.

Nice seeing you around here again, Sammeh!

Wow, blast from the past! I used to love that movie. Actually, I still do but like everyone else, I haven’t seen it in forever. I think I also have it on VHS!

=D Nice to see you guys again too.

Oh, now that’s a classic! I loved the songs so much I remember taping them with those old radios which used cassette tapes when I was young! I loved “Why Should I Worry” and “Perfect Isn’t Easy.” And the climatic car chase was pulse-poundingly awesome!

Oh, and love that “Daisies” avatar you got, Sammeh. We haven’t met, but welcome back to the forums!

XD I’ve been listening to ‘Why Should I Worry’ Nonstop for like months now. XD I bought it off Itunes but it’s just a cover. Which kinda annoys me because alot of the words are wrong. x_o

Thank you! =D Pushing Daisies rock my socks.

Yeah, fun movie. The big dogs scared me as a kid, plus the big cigar in the bad guys mouth was the big giveaway that he was no good. The “Why Should I Worry” song was great…

question: was that the first song, where it’s dodger just going through town, or is that another one? I remember what the song sounds like, just not where it is in the movie.

carlfredricksen: THe first song was “Once Upon a Time In New York City” way in the begining where Oliver is introduced and swept away by the rain.

gracias! but you are right before, the big song with dodger is Why should I worry" That’s the one I remember.
