Just wanted to know how much you guys have watched the olympics.

Please Vote and then record the amount of time you have spent watching and post it here. Once they are finished we can tally them up and see what approximately 960 users can watch in 2 weeks.

We have watched about 2-3 hours (maybe 3-4) a night.

So far my total is around 21 Hours

I watch it every now and then, but it’s not exactly something I’m addicted to. I’ve probably watched, at the most, ten or fifteen minutes a day so far.

I watch it every night it shows since the opening ceremony until I have to go to bed. SO I watch a lot of it.

All night, every night. I’d watch 30m air rifle if it was on. I’ve missed “Wipeout” and “I Survived a Japanese Game Show” to watch the Olympics.

wipeout? The cheesy 80s panel game?

WALL-E: No, Wipeout is a gameshow where contestants go through extreme obstacle events and get totally embarassed. It is really funny.

I too give up watching late shows just to watch the Olympics. But I don’t mind. I record the shows I want to watch while I watch the Olympics.

It’s hilarious. If you like watching people end up get sucker punched by a wall into a mudpit, bounced off giant rubber balls, and shoved off a 10-ft platform by a mechanical arm, you’ll like this show. Find out more here.

Takeshi’s Castle did it first (and better.) /offtopic

I only watch the Olympics if I flick it over and the sport seems interesting. I’m over swimming and have a bit of short attention span when it comes to sports, plus I’m usually doing something else around the house, or on the Internet. I enjoyed watching a bit of the BMX and synchronised swimming, though. If Australia is competing I’m more likely to watch, too.

I’ve watched the Olympics quite a bit since it started, at least sometime everyday… Sadly, I think it’s an addiction. It’s also the only Olympics I’ve ever watched. :unamused:

Take it from someone who’s been addicted for two-thirds of her life: once it gets you, it gets you. Of course, I’m of the sort who takes the addiction to the next level: last night, my dad, sister and I played the “Guess the country by the IOC code” game, and tonight, it was “Try and name the host cities in order.”

I’ve actually been watching it more and more as it’s gone on. It’s sort of inevitable in a way- it is on TV pretty much continuously, after all. But I enjoy watching some of the more random sports, like Table Tennis and Volleyball.
