The second open movie produced by the Blender Foundation was released recently.
It is called Big Buck Bunny, and unlike its predecessor Elephants Dream it has a less surrealistic and more Pixar-ish feel to it.
Granted, it this is not “For the Birds”, but for a movie that is completely free (as in both “beer” and “speech” 
), I think it’s pretty darn good and a huge improvement over the previous film.
