Just saw on the News Owen Wilson, the guy who does the voice of Lightening McQueen, took pills and slit his wrists.

I’m always bewildered whenever a celebrity at the top of their game makes a move like this. Let’s all hope Owen can pull through whatever is troubling him.

Oh my God, how awful! I’m a big fan of Wilson’s work, especially his indie stuff like Bottle Rocket and The Royal Tenenbaums. I hope he comes out of this okay.

Heh. Poor guy. I wonder what is ailing him? Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious. I sincerely hope that he doesn’t go “down the tubes” like some of these other celebrities. (sigh)

I saw on Yahoo that he’d been hospitalized, but I hadn’t heard the rumors surrounding why… 
That really is just plain awful. I just hope he can get things turned around and get out of whatever mindset would make him do something like that.

I started reading into it a bit but most reports are just rumours and speculation. All that’s been confirmed is that he took some pills and has ‘superficial’ cuts on his left wrist, so it’s probably not as bad as we’re all assuming it to be.
It always seems to be the comedians that try to committ suicide or become deperessed or both. I’m sure Owen will pull through.
The comedians? You can’t get any more ironic than that… Eheh.

Owen Wilson seemed like such a nice guy. Whenever he would do interviews with lesser known Australian reporters, anyway, he was very down to earth. I really hope he gets through this, whatever he is going through. And it shows that even though celebrities seem like they have it all, they go through just the same stuff as us.
I love Owen Wilson very much, and I didn’t like hearing this. I really look down upon suicide, and am saddened to hear about his attempt. I really hope he gets the right help… it’d be difficult to lose him.
