Here are some pictures I took of Lightening and Mater while I was at the MGM studios over the Holidays. It was
hard to get a good picture since everyone was crowding around him.

be there right now…
Looks like you had a fun time. I’m glad you were able to get a front row seat,
despite the thronging crowd. That’s cool how Lightning and Mater get right up close and personal with the
audience. What a hoot!

Nice photos! I like the first one a lot because your blue shirt really compliments
Lightning’s eyes. 
When I went to MGM last summer, they had the Lightning and Mater “floats”
in the character parade, but they didn’t have them set up for photo-taking.

Doesn’t surprise me that Lightning and Mater were incredibly popular.
To bad there
are only Lightning and Mater. I wanted to see doc or sally.
The
trick is to look up when the characters are availbale for picture taking there are assigned times.
I also
wich there were more characters from CARS other than Lightening and Mater, but I guess those cars are expensive
to produce.
That’s true. I guess they also want to create the two most populare Car characters.
There is a Sally and a Doc , but they aren’t on the
tour arg . i want to see doc in person! Oh well , maybe somebody will put it on ebay in 20 years or so .

Cooool! I’d love to see that! Of course I too would love to see Doc up close and in person. I’ll have to
get rich so that if they ever have it at Christie’s or Sotheby’s at an auction I can buy it.

The Sally photo was taken post-storm. That’s why she

I have seen photos of the Sally model before…on various
Pixar/Disney/animation websites. Actually, I think it was on Upcoming Pixar that I
saw the Sally pictures.
However, after seeing Doc, I think I know who my real favorite is now, besides
Lightning.
I know the top 4 most popular cars
were in the premire. I thought that was pretty clever and cool. I am just complaining (like a little kid) why
can’t one just place an engine in Sally and Doc and bring them to disney?
I wonder if
that Lightening you have in your picture is the same one they have at MGM studios?
I think it isn’t. The ones in MGM, you have to move it
with an engine or something. I think these are just stationary.
So in other words the ones at MGM are cooler
