I have been talking to friends of mine whom have seen the new one saying they have heard rumors
the third installment will be called " Treasure of the Lost Abyss . "
In this one, Barbossa has
to make up for his bad deeds by traveling to ends of the ocean to a place called the Lost Abyss . There , he and
the other characters must find a treasure linked to Davy Jones that can help save Jack Sparrow and Will’s father
.
This movie also involes them trying to break the curse of Davy Jones to set him and the other ghost
pirates free.
Does anybody else know about this ? I cannot help but wonder .
I am so excited .
When is the third one coming out ? 2008 or 2009 ?

I heard the third one was called, 'At the World’s
End’ or something like that. It’s going to be released this summer, I belive. Thre is also going to be a forth
one… perhaps next year or the year after?
I thought it was meant to be called, 'At The
World’s End’ too, but I thought it was going to be a trilogy, so that this is the last of the POTC films.

Youv’e got this so screwed up. It has been confirmed
that the third installment is titled Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End . I
garantee that.
I know the third one is coming out around the time Ratatouille is comming out.
At the World’s End
is correct. It is supposed to take place in like… China. So it will be like asian pirates! Heh. In the behind
the scenes extras on Dead Man’s Chest DVD, you can see one of the dresses Elizabeth will wear.
And also,
there really isn’t supposed to be a fourth Pirates… It is SUPPOSED to be a trilogy but you never know with
Disney. They are pretty money hungry. But I trust the director/producer for this film so hopefully they will stop
at a trilogy. Oh and I do know that they weren’t planning a trilogy while shooting the first movie… so you
never know. We may get a fourth one…

Yeah, I can’t completly
remember where I heard about that fourth movie thing. It might have been on TV, or maybe my cousin’s who work at
a movie theature said something, or it may have been a dream…

Oh, yeah, a fourth is pretty much definate. I mean look at how much $$$$ these movies
are making! Looking at it in a ca-ching point of view, they’d be nuts not to make
one.
Though, it does depend on whether the other people who
are paramount in the involvement of making POTC, such as Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom, have the same view. It
seems that the script has been written so that whatever has been happening in the previous two films finishes
with the third. If that is the case, then there has to be a mutual agreement between everyone that a fourth film
is suitable.
I think 4 pirates movies are too much. I hope they stick with 3.
Me too… they have to stop it somewhere. Plus, a
trilogy is a good roung number. And although Depp and others are interested in further expansion for the money, I
am not so sure it will be easy enough getting the rest of the cast. And then it just wouldn’t be the same…
they would have to spend a lot of time explaining what happened to everybody.
