I doubt it, now that Disney is developing The Lone Ranger (a western with Johny Deep on it)

I don’t really think much of this rumor, but I do have to say that “Boundin’” is, by far, my least favorite Pixar short. Bud Luckey’s voice is amazing, yes, but the short not so much.
