Pixar and the Color Pink...

You know, after seeing Monsters University, I noticed something. In some of their movies (not all), Pixar has occasionally thrown in characters whose theme color is pink (in the case of MU, and entire sorority).

The examples so far are:

-The “Python Nu Kappa” (PNK) Sorority

-Bo Peep

-Peach

-Boo (wears pink pajama shirt over purple pants)

-Chuki (the reporter from Cars)

-PR-T

-Violet (only at the end of The Incredibles)

-Hamm (though this character is actually a male, but still)

Do you think this trend will continue or not?

Doesn’t Squishy from MU look like he has a pinkish body?

Part of good character design is to use different color motifs with certain members of the cast :slight_smile: I agree that it seems like there’s really a lot of of pink characters for Pixar films though—maybe a bit more than the average animation studio now. I like it.
