I don’t want to mske people jealous, so I won’t tell everything.
(at least two things are slighty rare) But, I have(no pictures either) All the soundtracks artbooks, games, at least five throws from Ratatouille, Toy Story and Cars, a special Cars 2 quilt my grandma made for me for last Christmas, several litos, some posters,an in progress layout of Woody’s Roundup and Radiator Springs, all of Pixar’s movies on DVD or BluRay sometimes twice, A TSC Rex, Woody and Buzz, countless Pixar plushies, and some Pixar LEGO models I designed. Along with every official set except those sold only in Britain snd the UK. And an original 1995 Thinkway Rex.
I guess you really did have a lot of money.
I actually don’t. I just saved my money, and always ask for mostly Pixar stuff. Or my friend’s books. Once, my neighbor and one of their family.members who works at Pixar gave me a Cars watch from the studio.
I don’t have TOO many Pixar stuff, a collection or such. I have knick knacks and movies here and there. BUt my favorite Pixar thing I own is Pixarpedia.
I was given something recently that is so special to me I wouldn’t sell it for any amount of money.
Well what was it? It sounds interesting!
I was given a TS3 CD by Lee Unkrich(thank you sir!) (Yes, /that/ one.
Whaaaat! In person?
Nope. Just after a friendly online conversation and a letter.
Aww, that’s so cool!
It was, and still is! Mr. Newman did a great job! So did Mr. Giacchino! I love “The Spaceship”, “Keep Playing”, “Blue Sky” and “Day Follows Night.”
Sometimes it’s hard for me to choose which Pixar item from my collection is my favorite. I absolutely love my 2012 postcard calendar, Pixarpedia, my Cars toys, and everything I want to add to my collection, but in most cases, I’d go with the Disney/Pixar Greatest CD. I can listen to that CD every day! Still, having a collection of our very own is one of the essentials used to make being a Pixar fan fun. It means that Pixar fans like us are most likely to view a Pixar collection of our very own as something we treasure the most. It’s true-having a Pixar collection is like being a part of the Pixar Fandom. Right?
That, and I just purchased an A Bug’s Life portrait at a rummage sale yesterday. Of course, what I mentioned before that was just my opinion.
P.S.-I might go to the Disney Store (online) to get a mouse pad to go with my future laptop. Doesn’t matter what Pixar film is featured on the mouse pad that I plan to get there…be it Up, Toy Story, Cars, Monsters, Inc., Ratatouille-whichever one I end up with.
I’m so referring to one of those customizable mouse pads from the Disney Store (online) as long as it’s Pixar.
Oh, and as soon as I get my own laptop, I’m going to upload some photos that I have taken of my very own Pixar collection.
Here’s my own collection story that explains my posts for this topic:
I was given some stuff for Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Monster’s, Inc., and Finding Nemo when I was younger. I collected Happy Meal toys for The Incredibles, Cars, and also some Pixar Pals Happy Meal toys. (For some reason, they stopped doing Happy Meals for Pixar stuff after Cars was done.) I didn’t get anything for Ratatouille, WALL-E, or Up-in terms of at least some toys, posters-whatever pieces of merchandise I seemed to miss out on.
I was collecting Littlest Pet Shop (off-topic) when I didn’t realize I was really a Pixar fan, so that explains why most of my old Pixar collection is gone. Now, at this time of my life, I would love to collect more than just Cars and Toy Story-although some Brave merchandise will be coming out. But for some reason, I can’t find anything in the retail stores, nor can I find anything at rummage sales, garage sales, yard sales, or thrift shops like Goodwill or Volunteers of America. And because I can’t find anything, the only place I can go to find it is online-mostly through Amazon, that is!

OK, so. Step 1.If you see something Pixar elated at a store, look at it, and see if you want it. If you decide you do, buy it right then! It may be gone next time, after you’ve decided you want it. Second, look online! Crazy deals can be gotten on everything from Pixar art books to soundtracks, to the games, to toys and things. 4. Pre order! Every year,(starting in 2010) I preorder the art book, soundtrack and game, even if I don’t know the movie’s plot or characters completely. Pixar merchandise only increases in value as it ages.(Ask all the people who didn’t get TSC Rex!)
